Otter Creek Winery
Otter Creek Winery, named after the creek it overlooks, opened in 2007 and currently produces over 7000 gallons of 13 different varieties of wine. The use of cold-hardy grapes produces wines unique to this area of the country. Come in and taste the handcrafted wine, while enjoying the beautiful view overlooking the vineyards.

If you can't make it to the winery, the winery may come to you. Look for Otter Creek Winery at consumer shows and special events throughout the year. One of our favorite things is meeting our customers and hearing what they have to say. Maybe the next great idea will come from you. One of Northern New York's cold hardy varieties, this French hybrid varietal exhibits deep rich.
Services
Located on a second generation family farm and the creek it overlooks, Otter Creek Winery, is one of Northern New York's original farm wineries. Owned and operated by Kyle Hafemann, the youngest person to ever start a New York Farm Winery, opened in 2007 and currently produces over 7000 gallons of 13 different varieties of wine.
Now, in addition to our outstanding wines, Otter Creek Winery is proud to announce our line of hand-crafted, old-fashioned, non-alcoholic sodas. Our Black Sheep Root Beer, made with sarsaparilla and brown sugar, has instantly become a hit in the north country and beyond. Its soft, creamy texture, along with its fabulous old-fashioned root beer flavor is sure to please even the most discriminating soda aficionado.
Otter Creek Winery now has a pavilion available for your use. On a knoll, overlooking our farm, the pavilion is intimate enough for small gatherings, yet spacious enough for medium-sized groups. This is a fabulous setting for any kind of occasion, such as weddings, bridal or baby showers, anniversary parties, family reunions or corporate getaways.

Off the beaten trail and wonderful. He was making maple syrup and we stopped in because we were out and about. Super accommodating and nice. LOVE their Birch Beer soda, snagged a black cherry too and 2 bottles of wine.

There is a division in farm wineries. Some just cater unabashedly to the party limo trade, and I say go for it... Others, like Otter Creek are true farm wineries, growing grapes and making some wine to retain the value of their crop. This place reeks of authenticity. Brave enough to make a respectable wine from a barely vinifera grape: Frontenac. And all their other efforts are fine in a funky and appealing tasting room. So many wines, so little time...

Excellent selection of wines from the north country, excellent customer service by the staff. The winery is so organize so when you walk in there you can find what type of wine you would like. The staff has excellent knowledge of all the types of wine they make and sell. Wonderful hospitality.
If you are in the US military , Servicemember, family member, Veteran asked for your military discount and they will give it to you. Again it was a wonderful time at the Otter Creek Winery in Philadelphia New York

We stopped on a late Sunday afternoon for some of their wine slushes! It's a beautiful location with lots of wildlife out the back window, and their wines are delicious! Try their new wine, Pantsov.

This might be my favorite winery in the Thousand Islands. I get a few bottles of Harvest Blend (cranberry flavored blush) every year; and this winery seems to make excellent sweet to semi-sweet wines (though Aurore is superb on the dry white side). I very much like Cabin Fever (a semi-sweet red Frontenac), even though it's sweeter than I usually enjoy. I also love that they offer wine in pouches, I wish all wineries did! The tasting room in Alex Bay is convenient (and well attended), but I highly recommend visiting the winery itself; something about the sheep, and Amish nearby...love the rustic
