We reserved a night for November third. I was told they would be open and would call me the morning of the reservation. I never received a call and we called both numbers multiple times with no answer but given that the answering machine message still said someone was there just busy on the property we figured it was ok to show up. When we showed up there was a car there and someone that stopped by said it was the caretaker of the property and he was probably sleeping. We stayed for 30 minutes waiting to see and honked and knocked and no one came out. We didn’t feel safe setting up a tent in

The owner was very pleasant & the young man Joe at the "desk" was quite pleasant as well. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were extremely dirty & we were afraid to even take a shower as the shower stalls were very dirty & the wooden planks on the bottom of the stalls were falling apart. Needless to say, we could not shower for 2 days.....not a very pleasant way to camp. Other than that, the site was fine & the lake did have fish although it was very weedy.....
