In the geographic center of Arizona lies the "Rim Country", so named by the overwhelming presence of the Mogollon Rim. The Rim is an escarpment 7,000 feet plus that presents a dramatic drop of over 2000 feet to the communities below. It is covered in forest and grass land, and has been the home to Native Americans, cowboys, ranchers, farmers, hunters, fishermen, and nature lovers for centuries.

Site 21 is amazing! Beautiful view and feels very private. We loved being right in town as well. My only complaint is it’s $45 a night but if you want to have access to the bathrooms and showers it’s $65!!!! When we asked why, she told us the water is expensive. Luckily we had our portable shower and still used just as much water as we would have showering in the actual bathrooms! I just think it should be mentioned on the website site that there is not access to any bathroom facilities for the standard $45 price.

This was not quite what we expected. The website and pictures definitely paint a different picture. The single bathroom/shower was very dirty and not cleaned or refilled all weekend. We couldn't get the wifi to work either, even after asking twice. There were not picnic tables or fire pits. Overall it was a poorly maintained campground.

Friendly park manager. Very welcoming. She also went out of her way to help us find a permanent spot at another park since they didn't have any spots open. Small quiet friendly community. Children enjoyed hearing and seeing all the elk. Good shade, which is important when it's hot out. Nice place to stay overall. Only complaint is no sewer hookups and closest dump station is 15 miles down the road and no restroom provided. Ok on that aspect as long as it's not a long stay.

I wouldnt believe the other reviews. I stayed here for a month and enjoyed it. Walking to the restaurant and bars in pine. I did alot hiking at fossil springs and kayaking. Never saw any drug users. The time I was there they were doing alot improvements to the park. Even saw my frist tiny home there. But if your looking for nice little rv park close enough to walk and still feel like your in the middle of no where this is the spot.
