Established in 1973 by Menno Yoder, Wayne Door began with a small showroom and warehouse. Menno, a conservative Mennonite, had a strong work ethic, dedicated to providing unmatched service. With a solid history of dedication to service and his strong work ethic, the business grew rapidly. Menno became a true pioneer in the door business, and he had the first service department in the area.
This department consisted of highly skilled craftsmen and technicians who provided quick service and repair. Anyone can install a door, but few provide service. During the early to mid-1970's, Menno's three sons, Luke, Earl and Ernie joined the Business. Menno retired in 1996, and during this period, Dave Hershberger became involved in Management.
