We recognize that addictions are diseases that have devastating effects on patients, families, and communities. We are ready to help. Addiction to opioids (painkillers), both prescription and "street" drugs, is a major health problem in our country. Fortunately, OUD treatment with medication can be very effective.

I am sad to see how many bad reviews there are for KVH Ellensburg, as we have had nothing but good care and interactions. I gave birth to my son, delivered by Dr. Casey (who is an absolutely outstanding man!) and we received amazing care. I chose to go without medication and everyone was very supportive and encouraging. Our choices were respected and we were treated well. Everyone was kind, helpful, attentive, and communicative with us. I felt very safe, cared about, and comforted. The food is also pretty good for the most part (I particularly enjoy the spaghetti and their fruit options). There

I try and not write negative reviews but when something is bad, like really bad, I like to let the world know that they need to run away. If you can drive an hour to Seattle, it would be worth it. Drive anywhere you can to avoid this circus.
We, okay my son, had an accident with a knife while camping near Cle Elum. It went deep into his finger. I placed a butterfly bandage to hold it together as we rushed to KVH ER for stitches. I was thinking, hey, let's just get them sutured for wound healing and than rush back to camp to enjoy some s'mores.
Nope. Not even close. We arrived just

Most of the staff was pleasant enough with the exception of the night Nurse Lori. What horrible attitude towards patients and family. Not like they were overworked, 3 nurses for 3 patients. When we asked when our father would be able to get his night medication the response was I will get to it when I can get to it. So disappointed in this small town hospital . You are treated better the DMV!

To say KVH is a consistent disappointment would be an understatement, but I don't have enough characters in this review to give you all the details. I'll just share my recent highlights: 1. having my mother, with stage 4 cancer, show up at the hospital for a blood transfusion at 7:30 AM for them to tell us that they didn't have her blood, and send her home. Why they couldn't have figured this out prior to our arrival is beyond me. 2. Being told my multiple people that we would receive COVID-19 test results my mother needed for a procedure (the procedure is being done in Seattle, for obvious reasons

The medical care was great. They helped me through the issue that I was facing. What happened after my visit has enraged me for many months. The payment service that I was directed to use when I received my bill never answered their phone. I left messages at least 5 times and never received a call back to help me make payment arrangements. Now I am in collections and have to pay the agency a lot of interest on top of my bill to the hospital. I feel like this has been orchestrated to be a money maker for the hospital and the collection agency because a human being with the hospital never answered

I was so incredibly impressed when we came here yesterday to the emergency department after my boyfriend had accidentally drilled through his thumb. RN Madeline and Dr Frank Cruz were so welcoming, and helpful and answered any questions we had! It seamed to me like they actually truly cared about my boyfriend and his well being there. I have never felt more welcomed at a hospital before. It was the best experience we could have asked for during an especially stressful time.

The worst hospital experience I have ever had. I wish I was able to give less than 1 star.
First off, several different nurses just left my blood sitting around- smeared on my bedside table, some on my arm, some on my bed, and bloody tissues just sitting on the floor next to the trash/not in the biohazard bin where it should go.
Secondly, after getting a CT scan I was told that I had an abscess/really bad infection in one of my ovaries and that I needed to go to Yakima to potentially have it removed... Not something any 25 year old female wants to casually be told. After not bothering to ask

This is the worst hospital I have EVER gone to. I moved to Ellensburg for school a few years ago and have had nothing but trouble. While their staff is kind, they have proven to be utterly incapable (especially in the ER). I was hospitalized for pneumonia and treated with the wrong type of antibiotic and made horribly sick. Recently I went in, had to wait 7 hours, and a PA "drained" what they diagnosed as a cyst under my arm. Well turns out it wasn't a cyst at all, and I went through horrible pain for her to cut into my armpit and make me bleed a lot (it was a lymph node the whole

I had a sudden irregular heartbeat and tachycardia, and went into Kittitas Valley Healthcare's ER. I walked to the front desk and had barely said "heart" before they had a gurney rolled in to bring me into the ER. Within seconds they had diagnosed me, and began treating me with medication to relieve the problems with my heartbeat and to help normalize my pulse. After spending time in ER, they moved me to CCU, and I was checked out the next day. Within two days my heart went back into sinus rhythm, and I have not had a problem since. They were incredibly efficient, professional, and

I went in at 11:00 pm for Kidney Stones/Renal Failure. I was at 9.5 almost passing out from pain and they refused me meds and treatment because I could not stay still because of the pain. I have a broken Spinal Fusion and cannot lay on my back, again they refused me treatment for "not following Dr.s orders" even though the Dr. only asked 1 question at 2 different times. How many meds do you take? Followed up an hour later by the same question and his reply of "you don't remember what you said, I don't believe you".

Update 11/12/15 - I posted a comment on their facebook and their patient quality person Donna contacted me. She then called the Internal Medicine office to discuss and then called me back to say the supervisor would contact me. Sure enough the supervisor contacted me and said that she was calling me regarding a "facebook comment" in this snooty tone (Like responding to facebook comments are below her and she was being forced to respond). The funny thing is that she did not call to help. She was calling to confirm everything that I had said on my facebook comment that they were not willing

After having been in this ER several times, I'm sad to report nothing but poor experiences. Each time I or someone I knew was in this ER, they were extremely unhelpful, in two cases refusing any treatment whatsoever (the first for nausea that had caused extreme dehydration, the second for a family member's extremely painful back spasms). Unfortunately, the doctors here don't seem to really be interested in treating patients. Horribly slow care even with no other patients in the ER. Their go-to response for any walk-in complaints is "we cannot do anything, you need to call your

Had to stop here for my dad while we were on vacation in the mountains to make sure he was not having a heart attack. The ER was clean, competent and efficient. This hospital is big enough to have modern equipment and good doctors, but small enough to pay attention to its patients. Unexpected hospital visits are never good, but if you have to have one, this hospital is a great place to do it!
