I was lucky to be in full recovery from a severe Achilles tendon rupture on the tennis court because of Dr. Ahluwhalia.
The morning after my Achilles injury, I went to my UCLA health doctor who misdiagnosed an x-ray as broken foot. I knew from the internet \my floppy foot was NOT a broken foot! Then was sent to UCLA orthopedic hospital across town, some nurse's aide splinted my foot wrong ( according to Cedars ER doctors 48 hours later) and I was handed a list of places to call to get a UCLA Mri ( none available for 2 weeks! ) and they failed to mention I could get an MRI anywhere with my insurance

Dr. Sonu Ahluwalia was the perfect answer to my shoulder problem.
I consulted 2 other leading physicians and they wanted to do Complete
Reversal Shoulder Replacement. I was not ready to be carved up like a
turkey so my PT guy, Alex Reyes highly recommended trying him before I
made such a big decision.
He was RIGHT! Dr. Ahluwalia recommended a replacement of a
Cadaver Tendon to see if that was all I needed. His expert decision
was CORRECT! After 3 months I am doing great and have full use of my arm and shoulder. How lucky I am!!!

Dr. Ahluwalia is an amazing doctor. This is the second time in several years I have needed his help. This time he treated my knee and gave me the best cortisone shot I ever had in his office. I didn’t feel a thing and it worked great. He easily correctly diagnosed my problems on both occasions. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I'm a physical therapist. In my experience Dr Ahluwalia is one of the best Orthopedic surgeon. Rehabbing his patients was a most rewarding experience with best outcomes. When it came to finding surgeon for my father hip replacement, there was no hesitation. Now 17 years later we are going for routine check up. Thank you for incredible work.

Dr. Ahluwalia has the true Golden Touch. He and his team have made our experience smooth and flawless. My wife Marilyn being in the hospital with a severe knee issue was certainly a major concern of our family. Dr. Ahluwalia had previously successfully helped with one damaged knee and now the other knee was in worse condition. The bedside manner and care that Dr. Ahluwalia gave is as good as anyone can ever get. We are forever grateful for the results attained with Dr. Ahluwalia and his wonderful team. He is clearly one of the best.

In my opinion, Dr. Ahluwalia's rating should be 10 Stars instead of "only" 5. I had a consultation with Dr. Ahluwalia after procrastinating about a year while living with a painful right hip. After my initial exam & reviewing x-rays, he concluded that I would be a good candidate for a total right hip replacement. He was totally correct. It's now been 3 months after he performed the surgery and I've had absolutely no pain or discomfort, and can resume all of my everyday activities. Dr. Ahluwalia and his staff are very attentive and professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing

I first met Dr. Ahluwalia sever years ago when he did emergency on my 87 year old mother who fell and broke her hip. The surgery was a great success. I was very impressed with his care and deep concern for her physical and mental well being. A few years ago, I needed a knee replacement and once again, Dr. Ahluwalia didn't disappoint me. Now, I will soon my other knee replaced and Dr. A will be my surgeon. I would and do recommend him for anyone in need of a fine orthopedic doctor.

I consulted Dr Ahluwalia after a number of top doctors at Cedars recommended him. I had problems with my right knee for years and finally got the courage to seek help knowing that it probably was going to mean surgery. Needless to say, he did a fantastic job, I was up and about in no time and you can barely see the scar.
He and his office assistant Maria, are both kind, patient and responsive. I cannot recommend him with any more confidence.
