I rarely post negative reviews..
I have used Lira's twice previously and quality of work and customer service was excellent.
How ever, I recently told in a leather chair cushion to have only the top portion replaced. The lady at the shop was extremely nice and we found some leather which was not identical to the other leather in the chair but would work.
When the gentleman called (dont think it was the original owner, maybe son? called the price was just astonishing. I asked if the price was just for the portion on the top of the cushion, he hung up..Again quality and service was alway good

I have been afraid to reupholster some of my better furniture having had an amateurish job done by a company here in town. It may have been their first job out of upholstery school, but I felt terribly disappointed. Then I found Lira's Upholstery somewhere either on the web or some review list, and I looked at the photos (which don't even do them justice) and gave Richard and Martha a go at the wonderful chair that had been previously reupholstered. The job is a master work. I found some mohair fabric to ensure the longevity of the piece since I will be passing it on to my daughter at some point
