I am also the pastor of a local 100% volunteer based church "The Church of the Risen Savior" of which my dad founded. The decision to restart the business was prompted by several factors, one of which was many people confusing another septic company with "Larry's Septic tank Service" and more importantly confusing the owner (Whose name happens to also be Larry) with Larry Goodwill.

To add to the confusion, this same septic company had also gotten a hold of the original "Larry's Septic Tank Service" phone number. With all of that said, our main focus is treating the customer like we would want to be treated, and ensuring that every job is done RIGHT. The price quoted for an accessible tank is the price you pay per load and includes up to 30 mins of digging/locating.
Services
Larry started Larry's Septic Tank Service in 1993 after buying his first truck from a local plumbing company. He started the business on Godly principles with honesty and integrity at its core. Larry slowly built the business to be the #1 hauler in the Bastrop area. He was the type that never met a stranger, and it wasn't uncommon for him to sing or play the customers guitar after the job was done.
We always call or text or email you to let you know what day we will be out or when we are headed your way. 2. If we cant access the property, we do not mark the inspection as if its been completed. 3. We check the pump tank for sludge levels at every visit and log the measurements on the report. 5. We will either answer the phone when you call or we will usually call you back that same business day if you leave a message.
These systems are rapidly becoming more and more common, especially in neighborhoods and in areas where drain field space/absorption is a concern. These systems are by far the most expensive systems to own and maintain.

Most owners are required to maintain a maintenance contract with a licensed installer, the waste pumps are more expensive to replace, there is an external air pump to maintain, and you must purchase Chlorine tablets on a regular basis to treat the effluent. However, these systems do an excellent job of maintaining good bacteria, and treating the effluent.
Inspections come with a 5+ page report per NAWT standards, along with captioned site photos. Unfortunately an inspection was not performed before the purchase and I found this in a routine pumping just after the property was already sold. Skipping the critical step of having it inspected could have you stuck replacing a $10,000+ septic shortly after moving in.

I highly recommend Larry’s Septic Service. Cody did a great job diagnosing and ultimately replacing my 40 year old failing system. He completed the job without doing much of any damage to my backyard and trees. The county inspector praised that job he did. It was very nice that Cody had a plan for an unexpected situation that arose that he handled with no tribulation.
Cody was great to deal with and communicated with us each step of the way. When your septic system fails in the rainy season, it’s a big emergency and it was great to have a calm and experienced person like Cody there to help

Thank you Cody for doing a great job installing my septic system. Not only did he do a bang up job, but he helped me with designing hookups to the house. He even advocated for me when one of my construction guys was arguing about how the hook ups should be done. What a great guy! All you need to know about Cody and how he operates is when our County Inspector returned for final inspection he said, and I quote, "Cody is one of the best septic installers out there, and we never have issues with his installs."

We've used Larry's Septic service for years. Larry was a great guy and his son is now filling his shoes. They've done service on 2 homes for us over the years and are one of the few contractors I can recommend without reservation.
Between the time of Larry's death and Cody restarting the business we did deal with several other companies , some very well known, and were very disappointed with their bait and switch, hard sell attempts to scam us. Someone unfamiliar with septics is victimized by so many of these companies. Be very careful and always get a second opinion. We won't deal with anyone

Cody was TERRIFIC... After waking him, he visited on the phone with us for 20 minutes!!! Didn't think he could make it out. Oh, btw, we had huge septic issues and out of town company arriving. Called about an hour later and said he could come out... When he knew he was going to be a bit late, called to let us know.. WOW! Then, spend two hours with us in the rain helping us sort out the problem. Very informative, courteous and helpful. Took his time, no hurry.. and helped us out so much. Will definitely use him again and high recommend him. Love family operated businesses that care!
