Services
I started at Long Trail PT when I was injured in an automobile accident. Their convenient scheduling and insurance work was easy and the therapy I received helped in restoring my strength, mobility and spirit. Their staff, especially Keith and Andy, are true professionals who really care about my medical progress and health.
Keith is a graduate of The University of Vermont and has been a licensed physical therapist since 1998. He has been a certified Athletic Trainer since 2001 with the National Athletic Trainers' Association. Keith has been a part of the Long Trail Physical Therapy family since 2003. Keith specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine.
Aquatic therapy (water therapy) can be very effective when you have a condition that makes it painful to put weight on your lower extremities such as arthritis, knee pain, hip pain, or low back pain. Aquatic therapy allow you to function in a pool in a way you wouldn't be able to during land-based exercise.
We are always open to speaking with experienced Physical Therapist about joining our patient rehabilitation team and provide therapy and rehabilitations services to patients at our facilities. We hire compassionate healers who are passionate about their patients and committed to helping them recover their independence and mobility.
Our Burlington location features the exuberant duo of Keith Karpinski and Andy Filion in an open and friendly environment on Pine St in downtown Burlington. Located right next to the community health center and right on the bus route we are a perfect fit for those commuting, working, or living in the greater Burlington area.

The therapist has been attentive at listening to my questions and concerns. I have made great progress at overcoming my temporary disability (knee replacement), mostly because of the work I have done with the therapist and the exercises that she has prescribed for me to do at home.
