Just had my hair cut and colored by Brenda for the first time! She did a amazing job... I walked in with my hair looking so crazy & long. I told her to just fix my hair & make it pretty.. she did exactly that and I’m in love with this new style! i’ll definitely be coming back :)

I hadn’t cut my hair in almost 2 years, so you can imagine how bad my ends were. My hair was almost down to my hips and I had long hair all of my life. I decided to make a big change and cut it about armpit level, and add wispy bangs. I was extremely nervous but Brenda did an outstanding job! From the hair washing, to cutting and blow drying she was fantastic and professional! I am so obsessed with this new style and will definitely be a client for life! I’ve also seen some beautiful hair coloring done by this salon and am definitely considering getting a color next time. Thank you so much

I love everything about this salon! The receptionist, Michelle, was super friendly and helpful. Denise, who brought me a delicious cappuccino, and later, water, and also shampooed my hair was a delight. Brenda, my stylist, took time to get the color I wanted and was best for my complexion and did a fabulous blowout! (You have a client for life!) And what can I say about Emma, the precious salon pup who greeted me at the door! Love, love, love the Strand! Grateful I found you!

I always count the days till my next visit, I love this salon!! My hair always looks & feels great, even after washing them myself they stay so soft & healthy! I highly recommend this salon and definitely ask for Francine as your stylist, she rocks! Cute, little Emma will welcome you in & Peter makes the best cappuccino’s! This is a must-go!

I have been buying the Kevin Murphy products from this salon as the product line is hard to find in the area. I have relocated to Bonita recently and decided to give this salon my business and would change from my brand of color to the Kevin Murphy color line. I gave my formula to the owner as well as numerous photos of the color I was looking for. She kept assuring me that the color would be similar to what I am used to and what I like. I should have just covered my few grays myself, as my hair color is very drab and looks very similar to the washed out color from my late December 2018 color

She has been making me healthy blond for eight years.
I came with the ultimate bleach dried out hairmare. She fixed it by using a calmer bleach.
No heat. No chemical smells or toner. Just gorgeous Beachy blond that is super healthy.
She does an amazing job. Worth the wait to get an appointment.

I am a client of Louis Bruno who I have had as my stylist for over seven years. He is a master craftsman and very personable. The Strand is the nicest shop I have ever gone to. Everyone is pleasant and they also offer delicious cappuccino and warm towels. Emma who is the dog greeter is loving, enjoys people and always giving kisses and waging her tail. She is a real delight.

I needed a root touch up while visiting Bonita and I'm so glad I came to see Francine! I'm not one to try out new salons while on vacation or even at home but after calling around and doing research, this salon looked like the best - their products are top of the line, sulfate and parabin free and they have tons of experience. Francine was super nice and funny it felt like I'd know her forever. She really babied my fine, semi-over processed hair and even took the highlight foils out early and let the low lights process longer to not strip it anymore. The result was perfect and exceeded

Francine needs to be upfront with her pricing! I have short hair, wanted low lights and no cut. I got charged for low lights / color and a cut I said I did not want. I also didn't want it blown out which she did and then proceeded to charge me for. The quality was ok but expect to pay $300+ to get your hair done at this joint (and expect some colorful language!)!
