Located directly on the beach within walking distance of Pier Park and across the street from Gulf World, you would be hard pressed to find a better location on Panama City Beach. The owners preach cleanliness. You may find newer accommodations on the beach, but you won't find cleaner accommodations.

The desk clerks, housekeepers and laundry personnel are responsible, full-time employees who have been employed at the Flamingo an average of 12+ years. They are all mothers, wives, husbands, fathers and citizens of the area. You will enjoy their friendliness and their desire to make your stay pleasant.

We had a great time at the Flamingo Motel. Celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary! Room was clean and staff was very helpful. Will be back soon! We have been coming to the Flamingo for over ll yrs. I would not stay anywhere else. It's like going home. The people are wonderful, and it's like seeing an old friend when you arrive.

Disappoint with their attitude towards Disabled Veterans.! They force Disabled Veteran to park as far away as possible. Knowing the Veterans status with handicapped tag. Had to park in back farthest from building an had to cross road. While they had others even themselves parked right in front of building. When questioned they did Nothing to help. Even letting people who didn't pay to stay at hotel take close parking spots. WOW.. What has our country become??

Had booked another hotel through bookit.com at first, but that hotel was straight from hell itself. So we needed a new room and fast. We called 4 other places before we found this one. They allowed us to check in early due to our situation. They were very friendly staff. Family business. The room was very clean, very spacious and had a great view of the beach. We were only steps away from the sand and water. We will be returning the next trip to pcb!

Easy check in, inviting and courteous staff. The room is just what we needed, clean, cozy with a gulf view. Pool areas are nice, great location next to the beach. We can hear people at the pool, but our own fault since we are sleepy heads in bed by 8p. Somewhat relaxing hearing others enjoying themselves in these crazy times. I believe we have found our new vacation home.

Favorite place to stay! We come every year 1-2 times. Everyone is always friendly and never had a problem with anyone or anything. Walking distance to pier park, pier, restaurants, & shopping. Will continue to come back every year! Very reasonable prices too!

Y'all look, if you are looking for Luxury, move along, BUT!! if you are looking for a stay in Panama City Beach that won't break the bank, super clean, easy parking, close to Pier Park and some really great restaurants, steps from the Sugar White Beaches and Emerald Waters, a staff that will go out of there way to make things perfect! Well then owe it to yourself to stay at Flamingo! For years I've stayed in different high rise and high price condos in PCB, and can honestly say last weeks stay at Flamingo was a pleasure. The rooms are dated, but the beds were new, very comfy, spacious

I needed a room for 1 night and it was the only place I could find that said vacancy outside in the neon sign. Waited 15-20 minutes because the door was locked. When the employee finally returned she asked me if I was a local I replied that I am. She then said that they "don't rent to locals". I was dumbfounded that they were turning down rooms they had available as if everyone is rushing to vacation Panama City Beach after a natural disaster. How can local money not be good there especially considering the circumstances that so many locals lost everything and months later were still

We've been coming here for years. We haven't been back in 6 years as we took some other family vacations and Flamingo is better than when we were last here. They have upgraded the rooms and the property is clean and well kept. It is super kid friendly and in a great location. I'm so excited that my son will get to grow up coming here just as I did.

This was my first trip to PCB in many years. First time to stay in a motel. Didn't know what to expect since a companion booked the rooms for us. It was a bargain price. Although it's not a 5-star hotel it was certainly adequate and clean. Some of the furniture and appliances were a little dated, but the price of the room more than offset that. The staff was helpful and courteous and made our experience a pleasant one. I would stay here again.

Let me update. The last few days have been frustrating but didn't ruin the time. Talked with the owner and had a great conversation. He asked fretfully, "what can I do"? I told him I get it, I really do. Told him myself, it's a business and I understand. Someone calls, their card number is good, you book the room. Pretty simple. You make money or you're out. I just think maybe assigning the responsibility for rule enforcement and language control should be incumbent upon someone and that they be charged with performing those duties and held accountable. This place used to be our go to place but after now it will be the do not go to place. Not sure if ownership changes or management. The only thing good about this stay was the cleaning service. Our family drove separate due to half having to leave early and was told we had to park the second vehicle behind the building across the street in a lot that was nothing but mud. I asked if there were parking spaces across the street could I park on edge of the back lot- NO. I did anyways and had a worker apparently snitch on me and was told to move to back lot or it would be towed within 5 minutes. I asked

This is the year that I have been let down by the Flamingo. It's sad, and honestly I'm hurt by it. We discovered the Flamingo in 2012 and have stayed yearly since then. Each year we say that we're going to find somewhere else to stay, yet we are drawn back. Maybe it's because of the location, maybe it's the small feel. But not for 2017. I'm already looking for new locations.

We typically stay in a Cabana room. In case you weren't aware, they are NOTORIOUS for being communication blackout zones. No wifi, no cell ... Nothing. Due to this we booked a week in one

For a family on a tight budget this was the best deal. Loved the location. The staff was great. When I booked our room I was asked what time we might arrive. The day we were to check in I received a call from the front desk confirming our arrival time. I explained it may be later then we originally thought. I was told I would have to check in with the night security. The guard on duty that night was awesome. He made it a point to show me exactly where our room was. Room was perfect for our family of 4. We were given wristbands to wear during our stay to show we are guests. We will definitely be

We've stayed at the flamingo for many years off and on. The staff has been friendly for the most part. But this last stay it haven't been pleasant. The pool was dirty and full of sand. The rooms were ok. Everything is outdated with holes and falling apart. They made a barn door sliding door to separate the room from the "living room" area which looks tacky. The tub wasn't draining fast enough, it was atleast 2" of water when I was done. And at last, we had two vehicles and was told at check in that one vehicle has to park behind the building (that was supposed be well

Was in Panama City for Mardi Gras! 2/5 & 2/6 I stayed in there room across the street. 2 bedrooms and 2 pullout couches, kitchen & dinning area. For the price the only thing I could complain about was the carpet needed to be replaced. I would stay there again.

This is one of the older hotel but I love the fact that its owned by locals. Not a big company thats takes the money out of state. This is my goto for a vacation. Close to the pier park, lots to do or just hang around the beach.

I'm surprised at the bad review. So I wanted to leave a good review. I've stayed at this hotel for years. Always in the tower and I am staying here tonight 4/25 and tomorrow 4/26 We drove up in bad weather I told the manager we would be checking in at 8pm well at 10 pm when I still hadn't arrived he called my cell phone to see if we were ok. The room was already paid for days in advance. When we got to our room they had the lights and ac on for us. It was nice and cool. Everything is clean as a whistle and smells wonderful I have tried to find a problem and I can't I even
