Dr. Martha Manquero-Butler's story begins with an innate desire to help people. She always wanted to treat the sick. Dr. Manquero-Butler has treated patients for more than 20 years. Dr. Manquero-Butler realized there was a lack of care for homebound patients, which led her to fill this void. Dr. Manquero-Butler has focused on house calls, providing compassionate care during these visits.

New Light is a local Family medicine clinic that diagnoses, sees, and treats a vast spectrum of medical conditions for people 18 and over. Family Medicine usually refers to a primary care physician who deals with adults. Our clinic focus and training is in learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults.
We understand that many things in life are unpredictable. We are not often given fair warning that a medical emergency is afoot. Because of this, New Light walk-in medical clinic treats a variety of unexpected medical conditions and illnesses that might arise without warning or require immediate attention.
Many people-at some point in their life or another- will require an X-Ray to evaluate damage, trauma, or health of bones, joints, or spine. This type of exam is also used to spot other ailments such as pneumonia or breast cancer. A doctor may order X-Rays to examine an area that is causing you pain or discomfort, monitor the progression of a previously diagnosed disease, and/or check on the progress of ongoing treatments.

I took my grandfather to his follow up appointment and received AMAZING customer service. Gloria and Bobbie went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and acknowledged my grandfather as a person and not just another sick patient. Very compassionate and personable! Dr. Rosales was very respectful and has great bed side manners. If you are looking for a new PCP I would without a doubt recommend this clinic. Thank you for all that you do new light primary care!

As a walk in 3 years ago I waited over 4 hours to be seen. I needed a PCP so I tried again in a year. The nurse practitioner is great but the sisters at the front desk are beautiful but completely disorganized, Iack compassion and are unprofessional. One should not have to wait for an hour to be placed in a room let alone if it’s just a yearly exam! Yearly exams are free! Then they tried charging me $90 after I left and I had to call billing to get it handled. No apologies from any staff. Now I have to find another PCP. Ughhhhh!

Wish I could give a 0. It takes forever to be seen here. I have had to reschedule appointments due to waiting nearly an hour after my appointment time to even be called back for vitals. I never got to see the doctor. When I rescheduled, the front desk staff was unprofessional and rude. Veterans and people in general should have better care than this. It is ridiculous that you can show up 20 minutes prior to your appointment and still not be called back until 30 minutes past your scheduled appointment time for vitals. Then you wait an additional 15 minutes just to see the doctor for 5 mins.

Horrible experience here, Jose the GM obviously has no idea what he’s doing in medical field, Edith and half the staff has no actual credentials being medical assistants or any sorts of medical staff in office to work with patients. Next time go in and ask for proof. They might give you run round on that for sure. Definitely find a quality office with real staffing That can help you and that actually have the license for it. You’ll be waiting hours to be seen and much longer when they move you round on their schedule.

My appointment was at noon. Made on 12/29 to simply go over my lab results and other appointments she had recommended I have. It's 130 pm and I'm still waiting. Competently unacceptable practice. And the staff want sure if I was to have new blood work. Um no, what is going on at this place. Don't waste your time coming here.

I came down with the flu couple of days ago so I went to visit Dr. Martha Manquero for the first time yes there is some paperwork that I needed to fill out but it didn't take too long in the waiting area, after I was called I was checked by what I believe was a nurse very nice person very friendly before taking me to a patient room where dr. Manquero came to look at me. Overall, I highly recommend this place for their great service and exemplary clean facility.
