Estate jewelry appraisal: Rude service, name-dropping staff appear uninterested, little consideration for sentimental value of pieces, feels like a used car dealership, treated pieces with little care and "accidentally forgot" to return one...does the word thievery come to mind? ...would suggest going elsewhere...

DO NOT sell anything to them. He’s smooth and I sold him a good amount of some family jewelry which had great sentimental value but I needed money for a down payment on a house for my son and his family. I got probably 1/3 of what it was worth based on the fact that I had one ring that he offered me $18,000 for and said I’d never get anymore than that. I said I’d have to think about it. I spoke with another jeweler as I already had all the specs of the ring and he said he would give me $30,000. I went to pick up the ring and he was at a show out in CA and had the ring with him even though

Very friendly staff however recently I was there and was a little perturbed. Must have been a women in training to work their. Any way very risky looking outfit!! I don’t come to a jewelry store to check staff out I come in to buy or get jewelry cleaned.
I was not pleased I know fellow visitors may think the same or a more elderly person. But that was the one time I wasn’t pleased. I sure wouldn’t want kids to see that no offense.

Absolutely outstanding service. My purchase was small when considering their catalog, but for me this purchase is the most important piece of jewelry I will buy in my life. The staff treated me as though I was spending 100 times what I did and answered every question I had with courtesy, care, and attention to detail. The piece arrived just as advertised and included a beautiful hand written note of thanks and a couple other thoughtful items as well, which all adds up to a gorgeous presentation. I know you will not get this sort of treatment from a box store, or any other jeweler for that matter

Hard to believe this delightful jewelry store has received only one review. To update this a bit: it has moved a few stores up the street to a larger location. But the stock -- outstanding -- and the staff -- really sharp and friendly -- haven't changed at all. The store spotlights a lot of estate jewelry, and thanks to Jeff's keen eye, they acquire some gorgeous pieces regularly. It's such a pleasure to visit here; there's no pressure to buy, and when you've got a question it's promptly answered. And then there's the pricing: there are many simply stunning pieces
