As Westchester's premiere performing arts training center, New York Performing Arts Center brings New York City right to your backyard! With training in acting, singing and dancing, our aim is to create and inspire technical and well rounded artists who can develop and learn as creative thinkers and movers to surge ahead in the ever changing arts community.
With this comprehensive approach, our students will have the opportunity to experience each branch of the performing arts. Our goal is to provide a challenging and nurturing environment for a student to specialize their skills in a particular area that will provide them with a thorough sense of training and exposure to develop their own sense of style, language and expression.

Services
On Thursday & Friday before the recital we will be holding a Dress/Tech Rehearsal for the recital at Stepinac High School. This will give each class an opportunity to dance in their costumes and get comfortable on stage before our recital. Each class will have 15 minutes on the stage to rehearse their dance.
Our Adaptive Dance Class will help children understand the process of moving and controlling their bodies. It will help to improve physical fitness, balance, coordination, posture, & motor skills. It will also help to build self esteem in all students. Our Adaptive Dance Class meets once a week for one hour on Saturdays from 9.00 to 10.00.
NYPAC considers participation in dance competitions to be a reflection on our studio's solid reputation for quality, not simply in the way we train our students to dance, but on how we influence them as people. It is our goal to develop a genuine respect for dance as an art form in each of our competition dance team members.
Auditions for all our competition teams are held each year in the 3rd week of May. If you are unable to make any of the scheduled time please call the studio to try schedule another time for your audition. Being a member of the NYPAC competition team(s) promises to be a healthy, educational experience for all dancers!
SHOWSTOPPERS is a one of kind musical theatre program where young performers have the opportunity to display their best talents, by learning about acting, singing and dancing, all while being a part of a musical theatre production. The goal of SHOWSTOPPERS is to offer performers a program that allows them to incorporate their passion for performing into a schedule already bursting with other commitments.

I’m currently doing showstoppers theatre program and working on the little mermaid. I love my cast, director, and choreographer and I can’t wait to perform. Our director doesn’t go by favorites or anything like that, but only by our talent which I really love. I definitely recommend showstoppers especially for beginners.

My 7 yr old granddaughter has been at NYPAC for 4 yrs. she has made lasting friendships. Besides dance, she has learned about responsibility, commitment & being part of a team. The ‘one big family’ atmosphere makes every dancer feel included & special. Looking forward to many more years of participation.

We joined NYPAC last year and were blown away by the professionalism of the teaching staff and the owners. The teachers are all professional dancers, most or all of who have performed on Broadway. The owners truly care about your child. This is a place where your child will learn to dance and learn to be a respectful adult at the same time!! Not easy to find! Very impressed!

My daughter started dancing at NYPAC this past Fall and joined the Hip Hop dance team. She is having such a wonderful and fun experience. She is so proud to be a member of NYPAC. The other moms and children have been very inviting and helpful. Annamarie and Carol are extremely professional and believe in providing a positive, supportive environment for the dancers who span many levels of experience.
My daughter takes Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Ballet. All of the instructors are excellent!!
Thanks NYPAC!!
