The federal income credit for residential geothermal installations has been renewed and it is retroactive. This is a 26% tax credit, until the end of 2021, for the total cost of your geothermal installation. Talk with your accountant on how you can take advantage of this. If you have considered geothermal in the past but were concerned about the upfront cost this is your chance to convert from fossil fuels and save up to 50 percent or more on your energy costs.

We design, install and service geothermal heat pump systems for private homes, commercial buildings, and schools, with over one hundred successful installations in operation. In addition to our geothermal heat pump design, installation, and repair services we also conduct Formation Thermal Conductivity testing.
Our first system was installed in 1980, and we have been designing, installing and servicing geothermal systems ever since. We design and install water-to-air and water-to-water geothermal heat pump systems. We are licensed in Connecticut, and are accredited by the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA).

John is fantastic. I learned that he designed the geothermal system at the house I purchased a year ago and reached out to him to give the system a once over before the first winter. He is responsive, patient with my innumerable questions, and a pleasure to deal with. This summer, we've had an issue with the cooling phase and he's been out to diagnose and fix the problem on very short notice during a heat wave.
