Sustainable Engineering Solutions, LLC is dedicated to delivering building systems and equipment that are efficient, effective, and finely-tuned. This process ensures that all systems - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, security, and the building envelope - operate properly. The process of ensuring all building systems operate efficiently as needed to meet the facility's environmental needs.

Our energy engineering services include a broad range of offerings from energy audits to systems optimization. The Federal Drug Administration's Atlanta facility underwent retro-commissioning - the commissioning process applied to existing buildings - with the goal of implementing low-to-no-cost energy savings opportunities.
Services
SES was founded by professionals who understand the need for hands-on, practical engineering expertise. We have a foundation of diverse experience in commissioning, energy engineering and project management. SES staff have commissioned millions of square feet of construction with a consistent focus on sustainability and high-quality service.

Retro-commissioning (RCx) or Existing Building Commissioning (EBCx) is the systematic process of ensuring that all buildings systems perform interactively and efficiently as needed to meet the facility's environmental needs. SES provides RCx services for utility incentive programs or as stand-alone projects.
SES offers building envelope testing services to complement our envelope commissioning services, or as an independent service on any project. Field testing can be an instrumental component of a building envelope commissioning program and provide definitive results for quality installations. It can also be used as a diagnostic tool for troubleshooting.
Infrared thermography (IR) is perhaps the best nondestructive method to identify and analyze numerous types of problems in new construction or existing building systems. IR can be used to identify issues such as heat loss and moisture problems.

SES uses leading IR technology to quickly identify deficiencies in new construction projects for immediate correction, which not only establishes a quality of construction but also results long term operational cost savings. In existing buildings, SES employs this technology to identify energy cost savings opportunities associated with heat loss and air and water leakage in a building's envelope and roof.
