Owner Andy Small graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in video production. We started out as a home based business. We grew steadily and a soon and found ourselves looking to studio space, preferably close to downtown as possible. Fortunately an old farm house with an unfinished barn came up for sale, just one block from downtown and we jumped at the opportunity!

These answers will guide us throughout the entire creative process and clearly identify the messages you want conveyed. Pre-production is a collaborative partnership and careful pre-planning is the key to successful media.

Every successful video starts with a clear idea or message. The most important thing you can do to ensure that the completed program meets your needs and expectations is to know your message.

EDIT: Andy has had some pretty awful health issues and was not able to respond when I wrote the following post. Since then we have talked and he continues to work on the wedding video. I was insensitive in posting what I did when I didn’t know the whole situation.
Andy filmed our daughter's wedding in August of 2020. We paid for this. We have not gotten any video in over a year. We have contacted him and gotten excuses and now he is not responding at all.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Truly incredible. We decided late in the process to hire a videographer. After viewing some of Andy and Louie's work (which is fantastic) on their website, we decided to hire them. They went well above and beyond our expectations. Andy explains how they try to capture and tell the story of each individual wedding, and you don't really understand what that means until you see the final product and its just amazing. It's been almost a year since and we still watch the short cinematic video all the time.

I had some old home movies that I hadn't seen in years, that were in very fragile condition. Andy was able to transfer them to DVD in better condition than the dark, crackled original. It was done on the day that he promised. and it was at a fair price. I would recommend him to anyone that wants video work done. Thank you Andy! Doug
