I was happy with the staff who provided me with the services but there was a big confusion in the pricing I was committed on call while booking the appointment and what I was told at the reception when I came to the salon.
Pricing on phone during appointment for haircut (after a discount) was 40 and Mani+pedi was 35. When I arrived, I was told it’s 70 and 45 respectively. The person at the desk just said that she’s the manager and the person who picked up the phone wasn’t. There was no apology or explaination for the huge discrepancy even. She did give me a $9 discount but still I had to

This review is specifically for my stylist Kathleen. The salon is great of course, but Kathleen is outstanding. On time, takes her time with getting the haircut correct, and I always like the result and will continue coming back. Not to mention, The haircut is a great value for the price as well. Parking is generally not an issue. The employees who wash the hair before the cut also take their time and aren’t in a hurry. Thank you to the Avalon staff and Kathleen!

I was disappointed with my experience here. I got my haircut by Claudia and she was not professional. She seemed annoyed the whole time for no reason and when I sat down she handed me the brush and told me to brush my hair myself. The haircut wasn't even that great. One good thing was that she did a nice job blow drying it but overall I wouldn't go here again because she made me so uncomfortable. :/

I was HIGHLY dissatisfied and disappointed with Avalon Salon especially since I have been going there for the past 2 years. Lately, everytime I have an appointment, I have to wait. My hair dresser seems to always be overbooked, despite the fact that I had numerous conversations with the owner about this. I have to be sharing my appointment slot with other clients and lately I have to have another hair dresser finish my hair because my hair dresser is taking care of other clients at the same time. By far one of the best hair salons I have ever visited. Every stylist has their own unique expertise that is out of this world. Quality work and amazing massages when getting your hair washed. Definitely a great experience overall from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Highly recommended for all ages.

I agree with the review below. They show you different price and charge you different. Before booking my appointment, I asked receptionist for the price of single process color. She quoted $85. Website says $70. I agree and went ahead. In the middle of the color application, stylist asked me how much did they quote you. I told her it’s $85. She said there is no way that it’s $85 since my hair are long. It is going to be $100. It happened in the middle of the application.
I do not mind paying $100 but be honest and upfront about rates. It seems dishonest to jack up the prices while receiving
