It all started in1988 in the back yard of my dad, Mike McElrath. With a hard-work ethic and honest reputation my dad worked for the next 10 years to build a first class trailer manufacturing business known as McElrath Trailers. In 1998 my dad decided to pursue other options and he sold the business.
We have worked hard to build a strong reputation as an industry leader in custom trailers. With our proven track record of years of custom trailer experience, we are here to meet and exceed your expectations in quality, customer service, and value. We design, build and deliver custom trailers all over the world.
B & A Trailers warranties each new trailer to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for one year from the date of Original sale. This warranty is void of all other warranties and representations and all other obligations or liabilities are the responsibility of the customer, and not the manufacturer, including incidental or consequential damage.

I did a lot of research before asking B&A trailers to build a custom bumper pull trailer for me. Most places that I went felt like a being at a used car lot. B&A helped me get a trailer that would allow me to pull my Kubota around with ease and we altered/extended the pitch on the dovetail so I could also load vehicles without being worried about the steep angle. The trailer I picked up more than exceeded my expectations and looks so much better than the mass produced ones that I had been interested in. It was also made here in the USA by my neighbors in SC. I called several trailer manufacturers after an unsuccessful search on Craig's list. Ben took the time to talk to me, unlike the majority of them who tried to sale me what was on their lot.
I am very satisfied with the trailer B and A custom built for me. This is an excellent trailer at an excellent price. I hear " that's a great looking trailer " all the time!
