In 1979 my instructor was the most skilled/knowledgeable craftsman I'd known. He not only instructed in all phases of furniture refinishing/repair, but also about work ethics, disciplines, customer service. I still remember the first project I worked my first day on the job: a rocking chair painted with 3 coats of paint, "years later I learned why he started me out with that project."
Yes, the work is dirty/messy and still requires much good old fashioned elbow grease and sweat. Even today in the age of electronics and technologies, all phases are still done by tedious hard work. We have restored hundreds of furniture pieces from all rooms of a house and many businesses; disassembled, stripped, sanded, re-glued, and repaired as needed.

Ed provides high quality craftsmanship for a very reasonable price; he cares about the work that he does, and it shows. I brought him an antique childs rocker with a broken spindle ( including some chewing by pets, and I couldn't even tell where the break was. when I went to pick it up. . I would highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again.
