Valerie was employed with Leidos for 25+ years. She was the epitome of the perfect wife. Valerie was also a kind and generous sister as well as a wonderful mother and aunt. She made everyone around her laugh. Valerie was the glue that held the family together who never turned down a challenge or denied responsibility.

Our Central Square location is just 20 minutes north of Syracuse, right in the village of Central Square where our family has served the community since 1855. The funeral home is located at 684 N. Main St., right off the corner of State Route 49 and State Route 11 (Main St.). Our crematory, Traub Crematorium, Inc., is located at our Central Square funeral home, 684 N. Main St., Central Square.

We are very experienced with the department of social services and we do accept social services as payment for our services subject to application approval in the county of residence. In the event a social service application is denied and there is family hardship it is our policy to reduce our charges to the amount social services would have paid.

The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
