Services
When a marriage ends, there are many things that need to be considered. Assets and debts must be characterized and divided, support must be calculated, and custody and timesharing must be determined. In cases involving a business, the business must be appropriately characterized and valued. Selecting the right expert to perform a business valuation is critical.
Legal custody speaks to the right and obligation to make major decisions on behalf of your children. These decisions include where your children will live, what religion they will practice, where they will attend school, what medical providers they will see, and the extracurricular/recreational activities in which they will participate.
If a household member has caused you physical harm, severe emotional distress, threatened you so that you fear bodily injury, criminally damaged property, repeatedly driven by a residence or work place, harassed you over the telephone, harassed you in person, or harmed or threatened harm to children, contact the attorneys at Leigh & Dougherty Family Law to discuss your right to pursue the entry of an Order of Protection from Domestic Abuse (also commonly called a Restraining Order).

I highly recommend Tiffany Oliver-Leigh. My experience with Tiffany was excellent. The reason for seeking Tiffany's services are very difficult for me. However, Tiffany made the process as easy as possible. She was compassionate, supportive, and explained the law in a manner which I easily understood. Tiffany and her team are fantastic! I could not have asked for a better attorney to work with.

Tiffany Oliver Leigh is the absolute best family lawyer in NM. She worked with me through a challenging divorce/custody/relocation. She made me feel heard and worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible decision for my case. She was honest and helped me manage expectations. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a family lawyer.

I had a terrible experience with Kym Dougherty! A few of the problems with her as my lawyer: In over 7 months she was unable to finalize a parenting plan that was completed in about 2 weeks once I switched lawyers! (and btw, she charged me several hundred dollars to prepare my file when I finally got brave enough to switch lawyers). Kym missed a deadline and sent me documents right before they were due, despite agreeing to complete them right away after we met; since I work nights I didn't even have time to review the documents before having to submit them to court. More than once she took weeks

Kymberleigh Dougherty was very tough and serious about my case, while also being very kind and compassionate with me. She always went the extra mile and obtained a result for me with which I was very happy. It was a tough time in my life and I will be forever thankful that I had Kymberleigh on my side. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Ms. Dougherty and her team are an amazing group of people. I’ve been with her for many years now and I’ve found her to be extremely professional while still down-to-earth as well as a solid advocate and representative. No matter what situations arise, Ms. Dougherty is more than capable of handling them. She is prompt, knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking support and guidance with their divorce or custody issues. Her assistance will ease the stress and anxiety that often accompanies the situations that require legal intervention. I’m grateful

When I met Tiffany Leigh in June of 2014, I had a big problem. After working with her for a very short time, I did not have a problem and not a trace of that big ol' problem has ever returned.
I don't know if Tiffany can solve every problem, but she sure helped me with mine, and I bet she can help you with yours.
