Mary is a California State Certified Massage Therapist since 1996 and a Registered Yoga Teacher. Mary is Greek American. Had the pleasure of an hour Signature Massage with Gabby as my therapist.
Gabby was exceptional. She eased me into the process by gradually working my fascia to resonate with her touch and after a few minutes had my typically overly tight shoulder and neck muscles relaxed to softened butter.
Before I knew it, an hour of pure bliss had flown by. 12/10 would highly recommend Gabby at Athena Spa.

I recently attended Riot Fest in Chicago and walked many many miles and stood for hours on end. When I returned from my trip, every muscle in my body ached. I had to get a massage.
I had eaten at Old Camp a few times and knew the Spa was here so I looked up the website and texted Mary. She got me in the next day. She did amazing and my body felt like it hadn't just spent 5 straight days on its feet.
It was so good that when I finished I had my deep morning voice. I only get that after sleeping a good 8 hours haha. I will definitely return to Athena Spa the next time my 35 year old body

So glad we found this incredible spa!!! It’s truly phenomenal—my husband and I went for anti aging facials and 90 minute massages and were so relaxed and refreshed after!!! It was so nice to unwind in such a clean and beautiful spa—I highly recommend this hidden gem! We cannot wait to book again—-I’ve been to many spas but this one is the best by far in service, quality, professionalism and above all relaxation!!!!!

An immersive experience. You won't find yourself in more experienced hands than Mary's. If you're overly stressed with work or family a treatment at the Athens spa is just what you need. I'm the type of person that overthinks everything. Within a half hour my mind was calm and by the end of the treatment I was absolutely blissful. The environment is very calming you will feel safe and right at home. I had the standard message with medium to light touch. My masseuse applied just the right amount of pressure. We started the session with lavender essential oils. Next week

What a wonderful spa! Mary, the owner, was my masseuse and she was fabulous. Many other masseuses only know one way of doing a great massage. Mary knows when a person says deeper please or not so deep. The spa was lovely and immaculate. I highly recommend that you go here! You will not be disappointed!

Our experience was great. We especially were happy with Belen, Sylvia and Miguel in food service. Also William Johnson and Conner at the front desk, plus the housekeeping staff. We saw that sometimes people were rude to them but they always remained professional.

I had a hot stone massage today and it was awesome all the way around. Mary provides very good service and I walked out of the spa feeling so relaxed. I was able to use the pool and spa afterwards since the weather is great today. This spa is following all safety protocols as they relate to Covid19 - very clean environment. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this spa in Mission Viejo and decided to give it a try for their couples massage experience. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean the clean facilities were and I enjoyed the faint smell of eucalyptus and lavender in the entry area. The massage itself was top notch and left me feeling like a wet noodle by the end. I recommend the CBD oil treatment add-on for some extra relaxation. The staff was great and very accommodating to our specific needs.
If you get a chance to experience the steam/shower after your massage I also highly recommend that experience

What a wonderful day at the Spa, arranged by Mary! We called only one day ahead of time, and Mary arranged the perfect spa birthday celebration for our party of four! Great little find. I was very happy with my Swedish message. Mary was my therapist and she was great! Perfect amount of pressure and she focused right on my trouble spots.
I purchased a couples message with the hotel reservation so it was only $180. Amazing deal. My hubby had a great time and slept through most of it. If hubby is happy, I'm happy!
Downside, I'm a little spoiled when it comes to spa visits. I like the cucumber on my eyes and hot tea selections. One spa I go to even has a selection of apples to munch on while you wait. I also like having a place to shower and relax before

We were attending a wedding in OC and stayed at the hotel, which was rather average. Booked a hair and makeup service for the wifey who is very particular, to say the least. We never made it to the spa itself, but the hair and makeup artist came to the room. She had all her gear with her and went to work. Two and a half hours later, my wife looked like a movie star. Trying to get permission to post a photo of her is useless, but I can only say that Maryamme did an amazing job. Everyone came up to us at the wedding and complimented my wife's beautiful appearance. $200 plus tip. Highly recommended

The massage table can be warmed to your preference (low, medium, hi). That day, Jen worked with me. She was meticulous at locating the problem points upon my concern areas. I have been to many masseuse but this is the first time I worked with one that actually explored and identify those problem points before diving into the massage. I had a relaxing time, pressure and heat applied from the hot stones were appropriate. The music is also very peaceful. I fell asleep!!! My friend worked

This is my second visit to this very relaxing spa. I've gone in for a 1 hour massage and the 2nd trip was couples massage. In both cases, we were asked if we had problem areas and the massage therapist certainly took that into account and gave me and my boyfriend an excellent massage. I recommend this to anyone that needs to let go of tension and get the best treatment ever. The staff is very courteous and makes you feel at home. I love it and will be back again!
