I really don’t know what I would have done without the Schneider- Michaelis staff to guide me through the loss of my sister. They were instrumental in helping me get her back home from across the country, in choosing the appropriate items from the urn to the extra touches for the funeral and luncheon and beyond. The personal touch from different members of the staff was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more from this group of compassionate professionals!

Being over 2000 miles from Jefferson, and with this virus shut down, I could not be there for my brother in law’s funeral. I called Marla and asked if she had ever taped or streamed a service. She hadn’t, but she would try. Marla, you did it! And it was wonderful! Words cannot express how much it meant to be there virtually with my family and to see that heartfelt service. Thank you is so inadequate!

Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home went above and beyond to make a very difficult time easy. They work endless hours, all times of the day or night, including weekends to provide your family with a level of service and compassion like no other. A new feature of their services included a memorial book being presented to the family at the end of funeral. This book is absolutely amazing. It captures every component of the service arrangements from pallbearers, to dates, to memorial pictures, to the obituary, to attendees, to pictures of the floral arrangements and cards received with the floral arrangements

Our family had a wonderful experience with Schneider-Michaelis when my sister recently passed away. Marla was very understanding and easy to work with. She was always available to help, answer questions and offer advice. Next steps were always anticipated and made easy. Marla was up front about the costs and helped us stay within our budget. We were able to tailor the arrangements to what worked best for us, and together we came up with something very special. We were really happy with the way everything turned out, and received many compliments! We will utilize S-M's services in the future and
