Active Life has been life-changing for me. After one more chronic ankle stress fracture and no available appointments with anyone in Port Townsend, Active Life got me in right away. People worked patiently and determinedly with me to fix it along with other arthritic issues. After 20 years of countless sprains and fractures, I walk and hike wobble free.
We can't help but be grateful for the amazing variety of organizations that make this such a wonderful community to live and work in. Active Life Physical Therapy is a proud supporter of the following organizations. They are our friends, neighbors, and quiet heroes who contribute so much to the rich fabric of Port Ludlow, Port Townsend, Chimacum, and East Jefferson County in general.
Balance is our specialty at Active Life PT. According to the National Institute of Health, balance is a composite of many body systems. Whether it is a knee, inner ear, or neurological problem, we have you covered. To zero in on the cause, we conduct a complete evaluation of your musculoskeletal, neurological, and balance systems.
Whether you're playing sports or walking around town, the proper movement of your hips and knees are essential to effective mobility. At Active Life PT, our goal is to minimize your pain and maximize your movement. Treatment may consist of flexibility, strength, balance, endurance and coordination exercises.
We will work with you to address neurological and neuromuscular disorders that often result in muscle weakness, paralysis, poor balance, inability to ambulate, and loss of function independence. We will make changes to your bike to allow for optimum efficiency and power production as well as reduce the pain you may be experiencing on the bike.

Having just "graduated" since reaching the goals set I am compelled to once again say THANK YOU to Mike, Fay, Joe and the amazing front office staff. We who live here in Port Ludlow - " the village in the woods by the bay" are
blessed to have access to a therapy team whose focus is to treat each
Client's diagnosis with a plan that is tailored to their specific needs. They are.
always on the alert with close attention
to having goals met and adjusted as
the individual's situation dictates. I highly recommend them. Peg C.

The treatment at Active Life has greatly improved my total well-being. All the staff, from hello to good-bye, were efficient, friendly, respectful, encouraging and enthusiastic. In addition, the therapists listened to my concerns, and adapted treatment to meet my specific goals. An exceptional experience in healthcare!!

The entire staff at Active Life PT is so friendly and welcoming! Michael, Catharine and Joe clearly know their craft and worked very hard to help relieve my pain. Despite the setbacks I encountered during treatment (due to my body's limitations, not due to anything negative done by Active Life) everyone was empathetic and provided caring treatment utilizing several different modalities. I would happily return again in future should the need arise.

Beyond impressed. Competence meets care would be my headline for this clinic. I have had some excellent PT’s in my life. Never have I seen anyone take this much time to evaluate and take a history. This personalized approach is rare these days and it is alive and well here. The clientele and general atmosphere were calm and unrushed. Check in and registration for the first visit was not stressful and didn’t feel like a business transaction. Parking is right out the front door (yay!). The entire experience was actually pleasant and fun. The staff from the waiting room to treatment were engaging
