Sunlight is good for you! However, prolonged exposure to UV light, coupled with wind and dust can be dangerous for your eyes, often resulting in conditions called pinguecula and pterygium--commonly called, "Surfer's Eye." Since these sunny, dry, dusty weather conditions are very common in places like Arizona, Tucson Eye Physicians specializes in pterygium treatment.
Tucson Eye Physicians specializes in providing medical and routine eye care. Our services include eye exams and cataract surgeries, as well as diabetic, glaucoma, and Botox treatments. As a rule, Tucson Eye Physicians recommends having routine eye exams at least every two years, even if you don't have a diagnosed optical condition.

Worth the wait. Find me a doctor's office in Tucson (especially) that you don't have to wait and I'll know where to avoid. Kauffer is great - although he in my experience tends to under promise and over deliver; a problem I can certainly deal with.

Stay away. Incompetent back office when it comes to customer service. My aunt sent a check for $5.28 in early March, for what was owed after insurance They didnt cash til April. In that time my aunt died. Because the bank automatically closes a checking account after notification the person dies the check bounced and then this office charge the family $30 fee. So if you want to pay for someone else's incompetence go ahead and use them.
