During his treatment he benefited from two charitable organizations: Make-A-Wish Foundation and Friends of Kids with Cancer. During the end of treatments Shane went off to college and received degrees in Culinary Science and Hospitality Management. He later went to Culinary School and recieved a Baking and Pastry degree.
While in college he would spend long days in classes and wanted to find alternatives for snacks to the mass produced grocery store offerings. After a while he came up with making granola bites because it was nutritious, easy to carry, and filling. With a degree in Culinary Science, he had all the knowledge of ingredient interactions to make them the way he wanted.

For all of my birthdays i have gone to Anne’s kitchen in Austin and I never thought i would find another cake place that would taste as good as them. this was my first time trying a cake from Galaxy bakery and that was the beat decision i made. this cake was so dense and moist. i got an almond flavored cake with raspberry jam filling and it was AMAZING. will be going here every year now!

I just found this place this year, and I am so happy.
They have the best pies and desserts.
If you like keylime pie this is the place to go, do not bother going anywhere else. Just stop by here.
Additionally, the owner is awesome and friendly.
The staff actually makes my day better. I am so glad I am able to shop here.
I have already ordered atleast large pies here and countless cheesecake slices and keylime slices.
The stickybuns are good too.

My husband and I were in Gtown and was craving for some dessert after we had lunch at Burger Uni. As we were walking around Gtown downtown, he saw the small sign of this bakery and so we went in to see what they have. We were welcomed with humongous cookies, delicious looking cupcakes and their heavenly cheesecakes. It was a dessert heaven! The owner and his daughter was so friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back here to try their cupcakes!

My sister told me about this place and I’ve been wanting to go for months. I went to Bordeaux, France last year, went on a good tour and had the most delectable almond croissant! I had never had one have been craving one ever since. Well Galaxy has them and it was just as good. So thank God I don’t have to go back to Bordeaux just for a croissant! 10 stars!
