Dr. Michael Tachuk has been a Director for the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery for 6 years. He has been active in the medical community as well as giving back to the greater San Diego community for over 30 years. UPDATE... I just want to take a moment to thank the great folks at Viva Wellness for maintaining such great customer service and medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic! My overall health actually improved during the pandemic. The glutathione and vitamin injections along with a healthy lifestyle have helped me maintain optimal health despite COVID-19 and all the associated stressors. Had some concerns regarding a filler that I had done by Dr M. It was a filler that I have been doing at another plastic surgeons office for years. The questions were regarding the placement of the filler, and why the injection sites were completely asymmetrical. I had lumps and swelling in locations that I should not have had, even though the injection was done with a cannula, (which I am also familiar with). I sent a detailed email and text, and a week later, still no response. Please don't go to this place if you expect any follow up concerns addressed. Ridiculous, and I am sure the

They put thru my CARE CREDIT charge incorrectly, and i am being charged interest. ISABELLA has blown me off, told me she would get it corrected. NEVER HAPPENED. Previously I left him 5 stars because he was the only doctor in SD who would do my lip fillers while I was 17. During the pandemic when I visited, there was a long line out the door. "All these people before me can't possibly be getting fillers?" I thought because it would take too long and my appointment was soon. Turns out they weren't getting filler, majority of them were actually getting Xanax prescriptions. He sat with each of them for about a minute before handing out prescriptions. Funny because I don't remember that being advertised on the website....

I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. I'd had 2 consults in other places but as soon as I went in for the consult with Dr. Tachuk I knew this was the right place for my cosmetic procedure. Waiting for first time patient was average, maybe 20 minutes to check in and filling out paperwork. The office looked clean and organized, I noticed a lady going around the office cleaning and disinfecting. The front office girl was very nice and helpful she brought me the clipboard to my seat in the lobby with a smile. The most important thing.. the doctor is the one you see for a consultation

Although the office appears like a regular doctors office from the street- it's beyond amazing the moment you walk in! Not only is the office chic and crisp, but the exam/ procedure rooms are comfortable and not claustrophobic at all.
But most important: Dr. Michael and his staff are so professional, accommodating and masters of their field. Every appointment I have ever had, I've been greeted warmly, immediately- and have been treated immediately as well. The waiting room is beautiful but totally unnecessary!

As a new patient I was a bit worried to try Viva Medical. My worries were unfounded. The facility was clean and top notch. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of. Anna did an excellent job with my Infini treatment, after a week my skin already looks better. I can't wait for my next treatment !

Maxim helped me a lot within this process. The staff is very professional and clear as to how the treatment will work and how to make sure you see the best results. My visit was for the weight loss vitamin shots!
Update: this place went from a 5 to a 1 really fast. I've gone here for 2 mos and have experienced them watering down their vitamin products. Also, the women who provide the shots don't know what they're doing and you're left sore for DAYS. Not recommended. Waste of money and time.

This was my third time getting my lips augmented by Janet Sansano-RN at Viva Wellness. Janet has done a wonderful job each time, my lips always turn out looking amazing. I also wanted to mention, that she really listens to what it is I want and is very experienced with injectable (in my case Juvederm & Botox), which makes me feel comfortable and therefore, I will keep coming back. Also a big shout-out to Inna the front desk manager, she is so sweet and friendly and very knowledgeable about all cosmetic procedures. The office overall has a luxe vibe, very clean, front staff is always helpful

I made an appointment to get Botox in my forehead and frown lines at Viva Wellness Medical Group.
Unfortunately, my appointment was about MORE than 40 minutes late and I got there 10 minutes early so you can imagine... I was waiting for about 50 minutes. Very frustrating and there was little explanation or apology as to why they were so behind.

The botox I get here works right away and I come back for upkeep every 3-4 months. The prices for botox done by a doctor is extremely inexpensive compared to other med spas done by nurses. No offense but I have had too many issues with nurses doing botox or they simply charge a lot more.
The fillers are amazing for the chin and nose. I haven't tried the filler for under the eye or cheek area, yet.
I have tried the cool sculpt which I believe, really does work!
