I'm a family photographer obsessed with adventures, real moments, and a nice cocktail at the end of a long day. I used to think I'd spend my life working in international human rights - I even went to law school and traveled to some amazing places to pursue my work.

In my family sessions, I strive for the beautiful real. I love natural light and finding the little pockets of magic where I can capture your family and the real moments that make you, you. I offer guidance and direction, but I also stand back and allow each member of your family's personalities to shine through, so that you walk away with photos that make you feel something.
My daughter can't say the word, 'watermelon.' The way she says it is hands down, one of my absolute favorite things in the world. It instantly brightens my day and reminds me, oh my, how little and sweet she is. Every time, I think I'm going to miss that someday. That feeling is why I shoot storytelling sessions.

Amy was so easy to work with, she was so friendly and easy to connect and communicate with. She was very helpful in selecting our location. She was punctual and had ideas in mind for poses. She worked really well with our baby and our toddler and was able to capture great shots quickly and efficiently, important when you have little ones! Her turnaround time was spectacular and I loved the quality of the shots!

Amy Boyd is awesome! Her pictures always turn out amazing. Finding a good photographer is definitely not easy, but my wife and I are so happy with Amy Boyd. Amy is our go-to photographer for everything now. She's taken family portraits for us, photographed our daughter's birthday, and done professional head shots for work for both my wife and I. We couldn't be more pleased. Amy's photos are always great and she is prompt and responsive in getting them back to us after each photo shoot. Amy was a pleasure to work with, and we absolutely loved how our photos turned out. From the moment of booking, she took an interest in learning about our family, and our hopes for the shoot. The day of, she was relaxed & fun, and it was truly such an easy shoot for our large family. We left feeling confident that the photos were going to be special, even though we hadn’t seen any yet!
