This agency gives recruitment agencies a bad name. I have worked with many over the years, as I am a seasoned contractor, and these people (all locations, not just this Boston location) do the opposite of what a recruitment agency should do. Being a good recruiter requires people skills, negotiating skills, sales skills, patience, determination and intelligence (just to start...I have such admiration for the good ones). It appears that Oxford & Associates will hire you if you have a pulse and nothing more. Don't work with them, and be warned: if they do get your number, you will be called

OXFORD AND ASSOCIATES consulting is the biggest liars and phony. They (Jill Frakes - recruiter) took my resume saying they had an opening with a client and didn;t contact me for 2 month and one day sends me an email asking for updated resume. I have dealt with these people while i was in Chicago too. Mike Amarel manager for this company constantly called me 2-3 months to get my updated resume saying that they have all kinds of jobs but never had any, apparently. I stopped answering his phone and email.
I think they try to get your resume and then call the company to build relationship with them

Add this joke of a place to the endless list of crappy and useless staffing/consulting agencies.

I initially found them online and, when I called about an opportunity, I must admit the recruiter talked a good game and seemed very professional. Well, after going into the office for a meet and greet, I can say it was all smoke and mirrors. The "seasoned" recruiter had just graduated college six months before and was already promoted to senior level. That would have been impressive if he hadn't told me the place went through a massive round of layoffs and they were closing the office
