I recently contacted Carmen from out of state to send a flower arrangement to a close friend of mine who lives in Pinehurst to celebrate her birthday. The flower arrangement was absolutely beautiful and priced very reasonable. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Carmen's Flower Boutique. I don't live in Pinehurst and wanted to support a small, local business and get some flowers delivered a friend who's going through a difficult time. I put in an order for a bouquet of tulips and a balloon. The total cost came to $100, which is not a small cost for a small vase of tulips.
They called me the day it was scheduled to be delivered saying they did not in actual fact have tulips and would I be willing to substitute something else. I said yes and trusted that the arrangement was delivered to my friend.

What a wonderful place to deal with! I live in Florida but, have a lot of family and friends in the Pinehurst /Carthage area. I have seen the arrangements from a florist in the Carthage area compared to what we always get and expect from Carmen's in Pinehurst and there is absolutely no comparison. My deployed husband tried to send me flowers for Valentine's Day and the delivery driver couldn't find me at work. I was unable to answer his call, but I tried calling his number as well as the shop for over an hour. She returned my call after I had left work, she offered to have them delivered first thing in the morning. I got them this afternoon and it is the most pitiful bouquet of roses I've seen. Edges of petals were wilted and starting to brown and there were gaps in the arrangement as though flowers had been pulled out. The card with the flowers had the delivery date of February 15, not
