I like to keep things simple. I believe we're all here to help each other. I went to law school so I could help people with their legal problems and make sure they get treated fairly, and with the respect we all deserve, even in stressful situations, and even if we're in the wrong. Another part of the way I practice law is to keep reminding myself that everyone wants to be treated fairly - not just you, or me, but everyone.
If the other side is trying to take unfair advantage of you and your situation, I'll be happy to make them knock it off, but I find it's usually better to start from a position of assuming good intent on both sides, being polite and professional, and seeing where that takes us. Experience has taught me that this usually leads to the best outcome.

Curtin Uni must really be feeling the pinch of no international students seeing as they are just now chasing up a fine from mid 2019 which they never replied to an email about and have received no communication about in the last two years. Due to the lack of communication regarding this issue I have asked for the fine for be waived which was denied so I have also put in formal complaint for this issue. It’s simply unjust that an appeal email can be ignored for over two years, no other communication sent about this issue and then demand payment through the courts.

My sister is studying abroad here. The school suggested a programme schedule which then she got the visa. However, the schedule is unavailable because the school did not allow (?!?), then she had to pay nearly 2k for the visa of 1 sem extra (like 4 months). No explaination from Curtin despite of complaining and asking for support. Shame on you!

Graduated with Bachelor of Arts here. University is very clean, layout is very nice, the library has nap stations! Lecturers were hit and miss, Lee Ingram and Dan The Man (DFTF crew, represent!) went above and beyond while some lecturers demotivated students with their feedback. Also, did my study abroad to Japan and that was a wild 6 months I will never forget!
