We are a family operated business at the heart of the historic Wooten Canyon. Once known as the final water stop for the Cloud Climbing Railroad, last operated in 1938. Now, Wooten park is a picturesque place rich with various fruit trees. A warm inviting getaway with breath-taking mountain views. We have refurbished the historic cabin and have instated a RV park for those who would like to come enjoy the crisp air of the Rocky Mountains.
You may hear elk bugling throughout the mountains or see a deer passing through the park. Our RV site is a short drive from the historic town of Cloudcroft. We wish to communicate the beauty and history to everyone who stays here in the Land of Enchantment.

Cloudcroft was an awesome little discovery for us. And Cloud Climbing Railroad Cabin and RV Park was big part of that reason! Not only is the property amazingly beautiful, but the owners are incredibly nice. They let us pick apples from their trees, walked us around the property, told us about the history of the property, etc. This is truly a great spot that I look forward to visiting again soon!

Enjoyed a two night stay, mid-September, fabulous place. A very cozy accommodation with comfy beds, nice clean bathroom, stocked kitchen area and a roomy living room with a fireplace and a large screen tv. Directly next to the rooms is a spacey outdoor area to enioy, includes a very large shade tree a relaxing waterfall feature. I highly recommend booking a stay here, you won’t regret it. The friendly host will happily tend to your needs. Only a few miles, 7 minute drive to Cloudcroft.

We had the best weekend at Cloud Climbing Railroad! The area is stunning and really close to lots of fun things to do. But also far enough away that you can enjoy the mountains.
We have 3 kids and there is a fence around the property so we felt very safe. They also have the coolest, shady play area with a tire swing and a trampoline.
The host family is super kind and fun. They let us pet their horses and goat and showed us some great hiking trails that start on sight. They’re also super ambitious and have some cool plans for the property.
We will be back for sure!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The small apartment we stayed in was clean, offered a smart TV, small kitchen, cute bathroom and 2 small bedrooms. We had access to a larger yard with a trampoline and tire swing. We rented via Air BnB. Our host was friendly and responded quickly. I gave it only 4 stars as the walls were pretty thin making it hard to sleep one night due to noise in the next apartment; also the water in the shower never got hotter than luke-warm.

I've stayed here a couple of time in the last 7 months. It is family owned and they are super friendly. The park has a nice mountain feel yet still close to all major attractions. In the fall mornings, you can hear the elk call in matting season. Music to a hunters ear. I would recommend and will stay here the next time I am in the area.

We were welcomed by the extremely nice and helpful owners. I didn’t bring all the right electrical hookups due to this being our first time ever out in our RV and they did not hesitate to make sure I got all hooked up. They were even willing to run to the store if what they had didn’t work. Awesome grass area to walk the dog and let the kids run around. Trampoline, tire swing, adult swings on location. Reservations were pain free online. The kids love it!! Right by the highway but not loud.

Very convenient stop with easy access. Smaller RV park but family owned and incredible hospitality. We prefer to support small family owned businesses like this. Our 42ft toy hauler wasn't a problem. Would have probably detached if staying longer to provide more room for others. We will come back for sure! Our kids also loved the swings, animals and trampoline especially.
