Howard Lodge received his PhD from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He started as an academic, doing neural modeling of the eye; later transferring to Wall Street in NYC (primarily Morgan Stanley) and doing mathematical modeling of derivatives for 18 years. He was also head of derivatives for several Fortune 500 firms.
Institutional Intelligent Portfolios is engineered for the beginner investor who does not have a lot of assets, the time or inclination to manage a portfolio, and cannot justify using a full time registered investment advisor, but would still prefer direction with their investments. All clients interested in Institutional Intelligent Portfolios will be required to fill out an IP IA agreement.

I had the opportunity to intern at QFA this past fall and it was by far the best internship I had throughout all of college. Joe knows so much about the industry and cares so much about each and every employee and client. Him and Steven were so great to work for and we’re even better mentors. I interned for QFA during my gap year prior to college and it was one of the most invaluable learning opportunities of my life. I have been working at Quantum Financial Advisors as an intern for three months and the experience here is great. The working environment here is comfortable and colleagues here are easygoing. I’m mainly responsible for doing company research, M & A analysis and equity research. There are always some new things to learn and that’s what I think make this experience exciting and valuable.

I enjoyed working here as an intern for nine months. An awesome company!! The CIO Joe Rinaldi has very rich experiences in investments and does an amazing job. He is also very humorous and kind. And my supervisor Steven Nunez is very nice and is always patient and willing to answer my finance-related questions. They offer wonderful services. Their International Investment Incubator Program is an awesome experience to put on your resume. My intern experience here actually helped me a lot in the process of landing a job! Quantum is a great place to learn a various aspects of financial markets. I especially learned a lot about derivatives market and real-life data analyzing skills using Bloomberg Terminal. I worked directly with the CIO and the President, Joseph Rinaldi and Mr. Steven Nunez. Joe is really friendly and always willing to help students and interns to develop their careers and knowledge in the financial industry. I am currently a student at University of Maryland planning to major in Finance. I was given the opportunity to intern at Quantum Financial Advisors during the Fall semester. Since then, I have continuously learned about how a financial services company operates and gained some knowledge about the financial markets as well. This experience has been amazing. Furthermore, everybody in the office is kind and the ambiance makes you feel very comfortable.
