Auricular Acupuncture focuses on acupuncture points in the ear. Point of Balance Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine offers Auricular Acupuncture in Frenchtown NJ, Lambertville NJ, Bucks County PA & New Hope PA. Auricular Acupuncture is the stimulation of acupuncture points on the external ear surface for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in other areas of the body.
Electroacupuncture is similar to traditional acupuncture. It utilizes electric impulses through the needles and is adjusted depending on the ailment that is being treated. ELECTROACUPUNCTURE is quite similar to traditional acupuncture. As with traditional acupuncture, needles are inserted on specific points along the body.
The insertion of acupuncture needles is virtually painless. Most patients become very relaxed after the needles are inserted and many fall asleep during treatment. Never the less, acupuncture may cause some sensation like tingling, numbness, muscle cramping, heaviness, heat sensation, dull ache, which may be uncomfortable to some patients.
Eat a light meal about one hour before coming for an acupuncture treatment. Wear comfortable, loose clothes, to allow access to acupuncture points that may be used for treatment (preferably shorts and sleeveless shirts). Patients are highly recommended to refrain from wearing any perfumes or scented oils within the treatment room.
I 100% recommend Sabine at Point of Balance. She is a blessing to my life. I was in a serious accident and struggled with pain and doctors for years. In just one session Sabine took so much pain away, I couldn't believe how much better I felt. She truly cares and is very knowledgeable as well as professional.
