For four decades, inspired by Catholic social teachings and serving as the nonprofit housing development arm of the Archdiocese of Washington, Victory Housing has provided assisted living for seniors and affordable housing to low- and moderate-income independent seniors and families. Today, Victory Housing continues to strengthen and expand on this mission.

Since 2017, Leila Finucane has led Victory Housing, Inc., a regional nonprofit focused on affordable housing development and the provision of assisted living, as president and chief executive officer.Victory Housing serves as the housing development arm of the Archdiocese of Washington, with 32 communities and approximately 200 employees in Maryland and Washington, DC.

Our Heartship Fund supports the mission and sustainability of Victory Housing by demonstrating our commitment to the well-being of the residents at all Victory Housing affiliated communities and our staff. Through the Heartship Fund, we seek to provide internal subsidies to low-income residents, hardship relief to eligible staff and programmatic and other enhancements to our affordable housing communities.
