Lisa's philosophy of Wedding and Event Planning is simple, when the curtain goes up you get a "standing ovation"! It is her goal to make you and you the star of the show! As a child Lisa grew up in Westchester, New York, and then graduated from The Boston Conservatory, Lisa has spent her life surrounded by design, theater performance, and a feeling that any dream can come true, you just need the right team to make it happen.
As a full service Wedding and Event Planner and Designer it is my job to help you bring together the perfect team of area vendors, those that not only fit your budget, but your sense of style and personality. At Creative Concepts by Lisa I am constantly updating my preferred vendor list, which is shared with each and every couple that books my services regardless of the size package you select, it is my gift to you.
In order to provide our clients with the best experience possible, we request a consultation in order to create your one of kind proposal. We offer many packages but we can customize them for you based on your event needs. Our Consultations are up to one hour and complimentary, the meeting may take place on the phone - or in person at our Connecticut or Massachusetts offices by appointment.
The Creative Concepts by Lisa experience includes Wedding Design or Event Design, so what does that mean? We work with our in house team as well as incredible outside vendors, and colleagues, to create and execute your one of kind design. We create a seamless experience capturing your true sense of style while celebrating your day!
My philosophy of the Wedding Ceremony is that this is the moment, this is the most important part of the wedding day! So let's make it memorable and unique. The wedding ceremony should take the wedding guests on a journey, on YOUR journey as a couple, providing them a look into who you are and who you will be as a married couple.

We had to change our wedding plans due to COVID and moved from a larger, West Coast wedding where we live, to doing a small, family-only wedding in CT. Lisa was referred to us and we are so glad we used her! She was very perceptive and let us go at our own pace. Lisa is amazing!! We planned a wedding from several states away while juggling very busy work schedules, and Lisa made the whole thing easy. She patiently guided us in great directions every time there was a decision to make and thought of all the little things we didn't think of. And she was a force of nature on our wedding day equal to the forces of actual nature--in the form of a huge thunderstorm that caused us to have to move our planned beach ceremony inside on an hour's notice. We recently had a couple that had to switch venues, scale down their guest list, and move outdoors to conform with covid restrictions.. then the power went out for a week. As their planner, Lisa crafted a new layout, timeline and celebration, and then executed it like a pro. I hired Lisa to plan my mother's 60th Birthday Bash at the New Haven Lawn Club. Lisa was simply amazing and doesn't miss a trick. She is super organized and remembers every single detail. I don’t even know how to begin to describe how much our family loves and appreciates Lisa. Our daughter was married on June 22—our second wedding in less than a year! We hired Lisa again without hesitation. Her attention to detail every step of the way was incredible.
