The site we were in, 239, was level and long. The hookups were all in good shape. This is a great stop for big rigs traveling through. There are a lot of full timers here but it's clean and quiet. All the roads and sites are gravel but some have a nice concrete patio. We came in on a Monday and left on a Wednesday so not too busy. The pool closed for the season on the day we came. Boo hoo. There are 2 areas. The inside area and the "premium" area. I don't think we could have gotten into the more hilly inside area with our 38 ft. Super C and our tow. The lower area near the entrance worked out well

Campground was very large, over 100 sites/cabins. Nice pool and camp store. Convenient to Indiana Dunes National Park. Close to Michigan City. Staff was nice. Showers and laundry room were sufficient. My only complaint was the spots were really tight. Our sewer connection was right next to our neighbors picnic table. They definitely tried to fit in as many spots in the space provided.

We spent approximately 15 years at this campground as seasonal-renters. Overall our experience was satisfactory. We sold our 5th wheel 7/30/21and the new owners pulled it off the site. The campground owners began renting our site out immediately although we had not indicated if we were vacating the lot. Our rent which was always paid on time and for this year ran from 4/1/21 through 4/1/22. We inquired if we might get a partial refund. The owner’s response was pleasant and said “ I think we can work something out”. About 2 weeks later my husband picked up a refund check of $200. Quite an

Would not recommend for tent camping.
My boyfriend and I stayed here last night and around 11:30/midnight a loud truck I believe was propane tank came into the camp ground to fill the tank. The road noise was super loud even though we were on the other side of the creek. Would not recommend for tent camping, and wasn’t even able to return the still in package firewood we didn’t use because we booked two night but after that first one we decided it wasn’t a fit for us and went somewhere else.
They did have very clean facilities. Maybe being in an RV would have been better but I would look

Rented Site 67. Was fantastic, because no one was in Cabin 1, Sites 68, or 69. Nice pool. Great little camp store. Close to Indiana Dunes National and State Parks. At the National Park, we did the East driving tour one day and the West driving tour the second day. We really enjoyed the beaches and recommend Mt. Baldy, West Beach, and the State Park Beach for the best sand.

We stayed one night on a trip across the country. I paid twice as much for this site then the other 4 places we stayed at. The sites were very tight. We were awning to awning with strangers so as soon as we walked out of our door we walked into other people 3 feet away. The pool was too small for the size campground. I would not recommend it for more than one night.
Having said that, the staff was incredibly friendly, sites were very level and so it was easy to come in and leave without too much fuss, and the playground was nice and in the afternoon shade. There's also a nice pavilion right there
