Hi, my name is Caleb Cashew. I'm originally from Oregon but didn't start tattooing until 2006 in Clarksville Tennessee. I later (2013) moved here to Las Vegas. Here I worked in a couple casino shops as well as one shop downtown. 2016 rolls around and one of my coworkers, Nic Fletcher and I get the crazy Idea that I should open my own shop!
He had worked at a shop close to the strip that had now been shut down for a few years. Oddly enough, we also both worked with the old owner of that shop. He had closed it to move away for a few years but now was back. Luckily for me he had saved all the documents from that shop and was willing to give them to me so I wouldn't have to go through everything it takes to start a shop!

Since it's opening, Black Omen Tattoo has gone through several remodels and interior updates. It has also been a "home" to numerous tattoo artists, piercers, and apprentices - all of the above has contributed to Black Omen's current reputation and state. Nice smaller shop. I walked in and they made a spot for me later that day. I returned and was greeted like i was family. Clean work stations. Great staff. Oh and Little Luka the shop mascot was a blast to have around. Fair prices fkr good work. I already been back to get started on my other sleeve..

Fantastic all the way around. I've sat with Caleb a couple of times, my son had his first two tattoos done by him and my wife sat earlier this year with one of his other artists there at the shop.
Everybody is super friendly, the shop is clean and professional, and the work is fantastic. They aren't limited to just something you bring in, they can work with you on your vision .
Plenty of parking and no crazy interruptions by fools on the strip. This is a great shop.

I did a lot of research to find someone who would pierce my babies ears. i brought my son in at 4 months to get his ears pierced by Kelly and he was amazing & very experienced. i was nervous because we had a baby, but he was so patient & did a great job. it’s been 4 months since we’ve gotten them done, and they’re fully healed & placed perfect. there were no irritations, or infections & they healed very quickly! thank you so much Kelly!
