We know that going through cancer treatment is a physically and emotionally draining process. If you or a loved one has been affected by cancer, SIH offers many resources to help you during any stage of treatment. One of the most treasured moments for a woman is the birth of her baby. Doctors and nurses at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale's Birthing Center find this so rewarding.
At SIH we believe you should be able to see your important health information as soon as it is available. If you had a test at SIH, your result will be sent to your MyChart as soon as it is final. This means, however, that you may see the result before your provider. Please allow 7 days for your provider to review your test result and advise you on your care.

The sih memorial hospital of Carbondale staff really went out of their way to help my daughter she was going through a miscarriage and had to deliver a dead baby she came back and forth several times until she got up to talk to labor and delivery in Carbondale they talked her into staying and delivered they did a great job I don't know what we would have done without them however they are not as nice in the emergency room
