Services
North Coast Eye Care is committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. Our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing, we provide testing for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
Nicole Campbell is originally from the San Jose Bay Area. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Davis and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. She is certified to practice full-scope medical optometry and specializes in diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, with an emphasis on dry eye and glaucoma.
We are pleased to be able to provide the service of filing a claim with your insurance company and forwarding any remaining patient balance if your insurance company determines there to be one. We do need this information prior to your appointment to make sure that we can verify insurance benefits, authorization/referral requirements, and be able to properly process your claim.
Eyeglasses are a timeless approach to vision correction. Their ease of wear and variety of styles make eyeglasses an attractive option for many. Typically used for vision correction, glasses come in many types and are classified by their primary function such as correcting refractive errors, magnification, sun protection and safety.
The human visual system is an amazing network of anatomical structures. Even minor changes in the structure or function of a component of the eye can significantly affect visual acuity. Because we rely so heavily on our visual system to receive and process information, it is essential to keep the eyes functioning properly.

This company charged my father over $900 for a routine exam and a single pair of glasses- which he paid on full. That itself is substantially over market, seemingly almost predatory. 15 months later he received an additional bill for almost $70 indicating that this was because supplemental insurance didn't pay. That appears to suggest they submitted some kind of billing to Medicare for services he paid for in full. Caveat Emptor.

They gave me a proscription for glasses that made everything look distorted. It gave me a headache and I couldn't even walk in a strait line, with them on. The front people wouldn't let me talk to the doctor without paying more money and now I've wasted several hundred dollars for glasses I can't wear.

They completed my eye exam, then sent me to another optometrist to have the prescription filled. Trying the new glasses, everything is more blurry. I tested them and allowed adjustment time. Still blurry. I contacted North Coast and they wanted another $50 to check my eyes again. They verified the prescription was filled correctly by the other optometrist, but would not even do a simple eye chart test with me wearing the glasses, then not wearing the glasses. Asking for another $50 because their work was incorrect the first time certainly seems like a scam to get more money. For now, I have a pair

Although I moved away from Sequim North Coast Eye Care provides such excellent care that I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. They are thorough, kind, respectful and provide superior eye exams. They worked me in immediately for a urgent issue and resolved a problem that was not resolved elsewhere. Superb care with terrific customer service is a pleasure to experience

I’ve been a patient at North Coast since they opened and have always been treated like I’m the most important person they serve. Today I walked in to make an appointment and walked out with a new contact prescription and better vision than I’ve ever had in both eyes. I’ve always been demanding and difficult to please but today they “knocked the ball out of the park”! I couldn’t be happier with them. Dr. Campbell’s positive, friendly and caring attitude is shared by her entire staff. They are the best!
