Do not stay here!!! The rooms are dirty, the towels where ot very clean. No security at all. Bums come and sleep in the halls at night. It's scary and disgusting. It is a waste of money. We were told we had a park view, we had a parking lot view big difference but that was the least of the problems. If it was a choice of staying at this hotel or my car I would choose my car! This place does even deserve the one star.

My perspective on this place may be different than the average visitor, and I'd have preferred to give a 3.5 rather than a 4, but I didn't want to drag the average down.

My first impression was that this place has seen better days, which made me wary. Fortunately when I entered my room the linens and bedding looked very clean, all bathroom fixtures looked very clean, and the carpet looked clean. The room smelled fresh, and I felt confident that housekeeping does a good job. I was surprised by the excellent pillows.

If that's good enough for you, then I can recommend the hotel

Great place to stay on LI! Eclectic, off the beaten path. The staff was wonderful. When we arrived we were upgraded to the"apartment" for no extra charge. This will be our"go to" spot whenever we're on the island

So so so clean. Can't stress enough have clean it is. Rooms are small, but incredibly homely. Woman at the front desk is an angel, and it's super quaint and cute. Feels clean and safe and is a quick ride from the beach.

We spent a great long weekend here! The room, while pretty small, was very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time sight seeing, but had one night in watching movies and snacking in our bed.
The front desk person was incredibly nice and recommended a great restaurant within walking distance!
Definitely a hidden gem in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The room was great. It was comfortable, clean and smoke free. Even the television service was sufficient. If you just want a nice, comfortable place to relax and rest your head, I would definitely recommend. Additionally, though the room was small, it was still well appointed with all the necessary comforts.

How anyone can give this dump more than one star is beyond belief. There is no one single positive thing to say about this place it is in disrepair, old, run down and close to falling down. Imagine the worst hotel you have ever stayed at and multiply it by 1000. The only "guests" stayin there are the ones that saw the website and though it might be a cute boutique hotel. It's more of a boarding house for degenerates. There are not enough words to describe how bad this is. Garage sale furniture. No closet. No ice machine. No coffee. Cheeky warped floors. Noisy old window ac. It&apos

Clean and comfortable. Front desk is great. No idea why the hot and cold water lines are reversed, but it means the water in the toilet is hot and the cold water is on the left side of the sink. Easy enough to deal with so no points off for that. Good location and a comfortable vibe. I would go back!

We stayed there while our house was being raised. Clean comfortable and great service. Would definitely recommend. The halls could use an update, but our room was great. No complaints.

I have had the pleasure of dinning at Per un Angelo at the Jones Beach Hotel for many years now. During this time I have brought a number of friends from around the island and many out of towners. I have been proud to introduce this fine Italian restaurant to my dear friends.
The food has always been exceptional! The atmosphere warm and inviting.
The service is always attentive as they cater to you every needs.
Thursday and Friday evenings are filled with live entertainment and is a joy! How many restaurants on Long Island these days can you dance to live music?
I would highly recommend this

So even after the hair fiasco of '13, we decided to come back. Went here a few times, and it's been hit or miss. But we like the fact there is live entertainment, and the people are friendly. But here is why we can't come back.

We went here on Sunday, September 19th. We sat down at the table at 11:30 or so. A gentlemen comes over and gives us menus and explains they don't open until 1PM - but as far as he's concerned, the kitchen is here, he's here, so we're good. That was very cool of him, and that is the reason they get their only star.

This place houses section 8 housing. Drunks, drug addicts, and nut jobs! It's absolutely awful. The place should be shut down with all the illegal stuff that goes on! Police cars, ambulances.. It's got to go!!!!!!

We drove in search of a place to have a quiet tea and coffee. Then out of the mist rose the grand hotel of yore and lore--Jones Beach Hotel. At first glance it was nothing. However, on entering we discovered a tear in the fabric of history. A 90 year old hotel returned to her glory. And while we could mention the menu, it would be an injustice to the Chef. You must go there and try the cuisine--an adventure in fine dining.

For Valentine's Day 2015, my wife and I were looking for a nice place restaurant to go to. A few weeks before, we saw an advertisement for Dinner Dance at Per Un' Angelo. The price at $59 seemed reasonable. The menu included lobster with a picture of a lobster as well as glass of champagne and rose for each lady. They had an option for $15 for unlimited drinks.

When we arrived for dinner we knew we were in for a strange night by the sight of balloons on the tables. How tacky.

After waiting 15 minutes for a table we reserved for 8:00pm we finally got a seat. The table was wobbly

Absolutely loved this place! Reminded me more of a bed and breakfast. Staff is very welcoming and friendly, A+ for customer service!!

We stayed in the suite for 1 night. The room was big and clean and the beds are so comfortable! We had everything we needed- microwave, mini fridge, etc. We never ate there but heard the restaurant at the hotel is amazing!

Cant say enough good things! We will definitely be back!

We were there @ a month ago and my and husband really enjoyed our stay from the quaint room to the superb meal at their Italian restaurant. Everything was delicious we started with a Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese Salad with a Basalmic Reduction and Beef Carpachi. Their cocktails, entrees, and deserts were exceptional!! The establishment felt like you stepped back in time and they already did their own renovations and still is a work in process. The bed was comfortable and a clean room (that's my main concerns when I book a room). I think if you only except snobby Ritz Carlton Hotels this isn

I was here with a large party over the weekend and the entire experience was amazing! Our server Theresa was very friendly and attentive.

We ordered Calamari, and anti pasta as appetizers. they were all very very good. I especially liked the baked mussels.

For My entree I had the veal Scallapine. It was sliced nice and thing and was very tasty. Everyone else in our group (all 12 of us) raved about how great everything was. I will definitely return

When my husband and I first found this place, we kept it as a secret neighborhood treasure between us for romantic dinners for just the two of us. It's charm and atmosphere made us feel like we've left our traffic congested South Shore Wantagh neighborhood, into a friendly old fashioned Inn with happy people... How did we get here?

Then last year, we invited my extended family, well-fed, uber experienced restaurant goers, who flipped at how great the place was... Oops, cats out of the bag now!

Honestly it's got a wonderful warm Italian menu, with off the menu specials nightly

This place is great. I came here with my boyfriend one day after we were at Jones Beach (it was the first thing that came up when we searched "Italian" that was the closest drive lol).

Don't be turned off by how the place looks on the outside because I can assure you that it's a great place! The people here are so friendly. Emphasis on the friendly part because I've never been in a restaurant where everyone (owner, waiter, waitresses, bartender) treat you like a family even if it's your first time there. After being seated, the waiter even got out an extra chair

Let me get this out of the way: the staff is super friendly and the beds are comfortable.

However...

The hotel itself is about three decades past due for a gut renovation. The rooms are tiny and damp, the bathrooms are also very small, and their room rates are too high for what you get.

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend, (at $150 per night) as we were seeing a show at the Nikon amphitheater. The hotel is pretty convenient if you're wanting to get to Jones Beach, (be prepared to pay $26 for a 5-mile cab ride) but I just wish they'd update the damn place. The lobby feels like

Me and my boyfriend come here every weekend, the food is outstanding! We are always trying new restaurants but we just keep coming to this one! The veal is by far the best I have ever tried and my boyfriend loves the pasta. It's an amazing date atmosphere and feels romantic, the service is amazing and the prices are even better. Try the veal it is to die for! The specials are always good! We always feel welcomed and appreciated, by far this place is a true hidden gem of Long Island

This is the kind of place that you need to experience to believe. Enter through a room filled with ornate decor, I mean, angels, dolls, gold *everywhere*. You may wonder what you're in for. The front room is a bit... funeral parlor-like. Although the decor is not at all my thing , you kind of just have to go with it. The food is good. And the owner is extremely gracious.

Other reviews have remarked on the history of this being in the old Jones Beach Hotel, around the turn of the century when Jones Beach was way more of a destination for city dwellers.

As a kid/teen, what was my then huge
