Dr. West and her team are wonderful. I’ve had microblading, lip filler, and botox done at the West Institute and the results are better than I could have hoped for. The front desk ladies are always so kind and welcoming. I never thought I would see the day when I no longer needed to fill in my brows and Chelsea made that happen for me! I am so much more confident without makeup thanks to her. As for my lips, they are the perfect size and have looked just as good 8 months later. I am a patient of Dr. West who hails all the way from Philadelphia to see her in Chevy Chase, MD. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Dr. West never disappoints. She delivers great results! Dr. West is extremely professional, answers all my questions honestly, and speaks to me throughout the entire procedure to keep me at ease. And, her staff are discreet and welcoming. I started off going to the West Institute during the pandemic for facials with Chelsea (whom I adore), and decided that Since I thought that Chelsea and the West Institute front desk staff was nothing less than delightful, I would give Dr. Tina West a go as a cosmetic derm. I figured that I couldn’t go wrong after trying her wonderful skin care products ( which, I realized was going through so quickly because my 17 year old was sneak using them from my supply for the “amazing glow”). I visited Dr West in her Aspen, Colorado office. I wish I could give Dr West more than 5 stars. I absolutely loved Dr West and her medial assistant, Tracy. Their service was exceptional, and the results were incredible. Her experience and expertise are unparalleled. I have been doing CoolSculpt at The West Institute since fall 2019. I decided to start doing it 1 year before my wedding in November 2020 and continued doing a few more sessions after that. My experience has been wonderful. I love the way I look and feel in my clothing and swimsuits. For the first time in my life, I have a FLAT tummy, the rolls are gone. Microblading: Chelsea is AMAZING. It took her less than an hour to complete my service and I’m in love with the result. After one treatment my brows look incredibly natural which was my goal. A consummate professional, Chelsea is very pleasant, and she has a light touch so the discomfort was minimal. I've been going to Chelsea for medical grade facials/peels/skincare regimen over the last 6+ years. Recently started doing microblading which I love and Chelsea is legitimately a cosmetic artist! She is truly amazing at keeping the treatments relaxing, personal and educational. I've been through 2 babies and she has modified treatments/skin care when I was breastfeeding etc. I've always felt comfortable with her recommendations. I'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. They don't sound at all like anything I have experienced at West Institute. Dr. West and her team have always been SUPER helpful and accommodating to me when I have come to visit. I've been seeing her for almost a year for Botox. I went to another Dr. In Georgetown for Botox years ago who just injected me and never followed up. I had issues (one brow higher the other) and I was told it would just work itself out . I had that wonky brow until the Botox worked its way out of my system.

I've been going to Dr West for over 10 years, and I have always found her and her staff lovely, caring, and very good at what they do. My goals have always been to look good for my age (but to still look age appropriate), and through a combination of skincare (ladies, use your sunscreen), facials, a small amount of strategic fillers, and the latest, ultherapy, to fight the dreaded and genetic jowls that my dad's face warn me are coming, I've managed to do just that.

I went to see Dr. West to address moderate sun damage/age spots and she recommended a laser treatment. Unfortunately, my skin looks much worse now than it ever looked before the treatment.
Clearly a mistake was made because my skin blistered and oozed for six days post treatment. After about three weeks, it healed revealing skin that showed no improvement in discoloration - which was the point of the laser treatment-- but has left my skin loose and crepey. On the follow up visit, she told me that she's performed many of these procedures over the years and nothing adverse has ever happened

Where do I start. The only good thing about this place is the front desk. The Dr. spent five minutes with me and said I need a facelift in a syringe lol I'm all for it if I truly needed it. I just want to get rid of my minor laugh lines. I have great skin. Her face reminds me of the cat women with too many lifts (but the softer version sort of). She tried to convince me my bone structure on the side of the face was not normal. I have always been that way but she wouldn't listen. I'm glad I didn't get anything done by her....looks like someone fell for her famous facelift and

STAY AWAY from Dr. West and DON'T let her inject you any fillers or botox! She is the WORST choice I've ever made for filler injections. Beware everyone!

Since moving to the USA I've jumped from the place to place looking for the right cosmetic dermatologist. I came across Dr. Tina West from a friend - I've been to her now three times and I couldn't be anymore ecstatic about my results! Even when I sometimes request a much more dramatic look in the consult - Dr West always gives me her best opinion on my appearance and what I need. Dr West always ends up giving me the most natural looking lips and making me the happiest person.

In summary, I paid something like $2,000 (including the consultation fee - seriously) to have my face fixed up as I had recently gone engagement ring shopping with my now-husband and was looking forward to the engagement and photos.
