I am a nurse who went there to work. The ADON name is James. He is very rude and obnoxious. He needs to get retrained on how to talk to staff. I was yelled and told to go home. To make matters worse I was reprimanded because I left my cart and screen was open to assist a patient who was screaming for help repeatedly. James is terrible I hope one day he will need a job and come to my agency.πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

It looks like a nice place on the outside, but on the inside is another story, some of them have terrible bedside manner, just plain NASTY attitudes and talk very nasty & disrespectful to some of the residents and are even nasty to some of the guest and family members, over the phone and in person, I had to check one of those guys who was talking very nasty and accusing my mother of something, accusing her of not talking on the phone and hallowing at her and she was talking but very low because her vocals are are a little damaged she has an esoficuss problem with her throat, I had to check him

My father was there three years ago for rehab and we were very satisfied with the care and the facility. Once again, he returned for rehab and this time there was a total change. I can’t really be specific, because it was all reported to me by my father. I can say that they lie, reported my father was using the walker in the hallway with the therapist, drinking hot chocolate, needing only assistance, so we declined any additional home care. When he did return home, he could not walk, fell twice within the first few hours and we needed to contact rescue. He now needs total care, is in a wheelchair

Terrible place to work. It is required you perform your duties like a robot with very little interaction with the residents. One particular night shift nurse sleeps, was caught more then once, still works there. CNAs run the facility. CNA are offended and expect nursing to do their job for them in the middle of medication administration which is unsafe. They constantly make up lies about nursing, administration believes everything they claim. ADON very accusatory and unpredictable mood swings. Unprofessional atmosphere. No N95 for direct COVID care clients, however administration wore them religiously

Upon my 1st visit, to admission of my mother, it was an awesome experience then the true regal heights surfaced. Sooo much to say from neglect to staff hitting patients and so on. Stay tuned I'll let my lawyers and the news journalists tell this story.

Worst thing you could do to your loved ones is to send them to Regal Heights. The "care" is poor at best. The facility is unclean. The administrative staff is condescending and incompetent. They have spent more time and effort on how to have the least involvement with the resident then actual care given; this is demonstrated daily by the "stated mandated minimum" for care givers per resident. The Aids that give a darn are too few and over worked and as for the Aids that don't care, well you can imagine. My mother often times is forced to soil herself because the wait time for bathroom assistance

I never felt so relieved until my father was admitted into Regal Heights. I had previously had a tour of the facility and met several of the professionals. They educated me about the state of the art equipment they used and it was most impressive. Dad needed special wound care and exceptional nursing and that is EXACTLY what he received. That was about 8 months ago, and he still talks about how wonderful everyone was to him, the high level of care he received and the compassion that was demonstrated. It was a hard and long recovery for Dad, as he had already spent too much time in a neighboring

Let me start by saying I was a little worried at first, when I read the previous reviews left on here... BUT I always say, I will judge for myself. I would give MORE stars IF I could! This place was GREAT! My Mother had to stay for a month, to heal from major surgery on her foot. She was placed in another rehab first, that wasn't that great. She came here, after her surgery. She Loved it and the Nurses & Aides are Great! The Room was clean, accommodating and I couldn't have asked for better care for her! I ALWAYS say to people, don't pay too much attention to negative reviews, they aren't always

Heads up to anyone and everyone who has a loved one that needs to live in a 24 hr nursing facility and rehabilitation. Regal Heights is one of the worst if not the worst nursing facility in Delaware. My mother had no choice but to go into a nursing home with daily rehabilitation. When she first arrived boy did they put on a show for us. Everyone was so attentive and nice. She was so happy as we (her children and grandchildren) were too. We thought boy, she is finally going to be happy and taken care of and not have to live alone anymore. After the 2nd week there my god what a turn around for the
