They should definitely shut this place down if I could give minus stars it would be minus a thousand they staff is rude especially if your loved one can't move around for themselves they leave them for hours wet and in their own feces and don't answer the call button and if they do answer its always some excuse as to why they can't help oh I'm not part of your nurses staff let me find someone I'll be right back and never come back or comeback with an attitude. Don't be cold cause they only gonna give 1 blanket and it better not get dirty although they have washers and dryers like what the funk

Been here a couple of weeks. Lasted 3 days at home because the rehab I’d been in milked my
Medicare days and sent me on my way unprepared. From my first conversation with the business office, I felt reassured and informed. I’m more than able to advocate for myself. I’ve made it plain I’m going home asap. The staff has acted accordingly. Activities, Admissions, Dietary, Business office Social Workers Nurses GNAs. They are all trying. That’s all that I can ask. Nowhere is perfect. But I’ve seen what it looks like when folks are slow walking you and not listening. This isn’t that place

Cadia is following CDC guidelines for COVID19, however the fourth floor snells like urine. The smell is so bad I got a headache. My hope is that the patients are not suffering from this type of neglegence. Visitors have come in to find their patient face down on the floor. The staff report being overworked.

I don’t like this place, they are not necessarily rude but very dismissive. My grandmother has been missing her tablet a week after it was gone, I was unable to see her or communicate the entire pandemic, they keep giving different accounts of the whereabouts of the item which is very important, conducive to her entertainment and connecting with family. Also as of 2 days ago she has none of her personal items, no comb, brush, products or CLOTHES and the only explanation is, “she has had a lot of room changes” it’s sad we have to deal with this injustice but I guess it’s to be expected

My mom has been at the skill nursing unit of the facility as she attempts to return back home. As her son, my mom is precious goods and Cadia understands this. My mom has shared how comfortable she is; OT and PT therapists keep me informed; the doctor has called to speak with me; I spoke with the nutritionist and mom loves the food.
I could not be more pleased. I will keep you posted but I feel comfortable with my mom being here.

I can't thank the staff at Cadia enough for the care they take with my father. The quality of care has greatly improved since management has changed a few years ago. I greatly appreciate the team on the 4th floor, especially Amanda and the patience she has with my Dad. She has truly been a godsend during the pandemic and a great partner in his overall care.

My sister had a stroke in May leaving her totally dependent for care. After going through a rehab facility at Penn St University, she was placed at Cadia due to the fact they had in house dialysis. After two weeks, I was finally able to visit with her and noticed very rapidly that she was nowhere near as strong as was the day she left the rehab. The following week, (you only get one visit a week for 20 minutes), she was sent to White Oak Medical Center for wound care. She had bedsores that were infected clear to the bone. After surgery, she was sent back to Cadia. Again after a 2 week quarantine

My father has been a resident at Cadia HC Hyattsvile for over a year. The staff is amazing. He was very ill when he got there but now he is doing so much better. He is alert. He can walk on his own, which he could not do before. His weight has increased. He is happy and smiling. The nurses and doctors keep me informed of his progress. During the pandemic I was able to talk to him regularly and even do zoom meetings to see him. He is always clean and well cared for. The business staff is also amazing. They all care and I think they are GREAT !

This place is a disgrace for anyone associated with the healthcare field. The receptionist is so rude and unprofessional. Asked me if I had an appointment when I tried explaining why I was there she kept asking if I had an appointment raising her voice over me rolling her eyes. I've worked in the healthcare field for 7 years and have never seen a facility so appalling. Our loved one got bed sores here all the way to the bone which this place never documented or let us know and had the audacity to send him to another hospital when one of his tubes came out and then say he didn't have them

My heart is heavy having to send my fiance from Mississippi to Maryland to this facility, with that being said, I pray his stay there will be positive and rewarding. It does not help reading negative reviews but he has been through enough already so please take care of my love. I will definitely be checking in daily.
