Drove 600 miles to see my 15 year old daughter and spend time with her after not seeing her for a year stayed at hurricane inn over a month almost two and spent thousands of dollars. Cost around $90 a night because they have no single bed rooms I guess at least that's what they say Well my daughter stayed at the hotel with me one night and the power went out around 3 or 4 in the afternoon so we went all night and the next day until checkout without power and i didn't receive a refund not even a partial refund. Needless to say I haven't been back to that hotel since I get one at a nearby town because

I stayed here for about a week prior too purchasing a house and specifically chose this because of the continental breakfast and was extremely disappointed. The only fruit were two overripe bananas. Sugary cereal, small cheap sugary buns and a waffle maker. My 1st night I saw a cockroach on the wall above the TV. Also saw two more; one coming out of an area where carpet had been torn back in the bathroom and another on the bathroom counter top.
I met my neighbor who stated he and his wife were moved to another room because there were cockroaches everywhere in their original room. I did go too

Clean rooms. Well sound insulated, very quiet, can rarely hear other visitors at all. Breakfast is offered, but minimal: make your own waffles, honey buns, dry cereal, some fruit, oatmeal, toast. Coffee and OJ.
No businesses within immediate walking distance, but a couple miles away is downtown Waynesboro.
Very comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Large TV with Spectrum cable and HBO (including on-demand.)
Friendly staff.
