Harvest Collegiate High School is a school with a special mission, a community of learners grounded in habits of mind and heart. We are different from many other schools, large and small alike. Our goal is to inspire you to think for yourself; to ask questions; to form opinions based on evidence, research, and knowledge; to practice with different perspectives; to make things better with your creativity and to do good!
I come to school leadership with a decade of experience in public schools, and a lifelong love of children, ideas and learning.

For the past nine years, I have served variously as a teacher, advisor, service and college coordinator, and Professional Development Director at Humanities Preparatory Academy, which was chosen by the Gates Foundation as a National Mentor School of the Coalition of Essential Schools, and in 2010 achieved a 95% four-year graduation rate.
Audrey is charge of programming, scheduling, overseeing our math and science departments, and helping all of our students achieve to their fullest. Audrey believes passionately in the power of small schools and in connecting deeply with students to show them the beauty in mathematics.

Our faculty is exceptional - in its depth of experience, diversity of talents, and commitment to inspiring students. Susan is the founding college counselor at Harvest! She's been in the field since the 1990s, and went on to earn her master's degree in education/TESOL from CUNY City College. Prior to her pivot into education, Susan spent the bulk of her career as a journalist at The New York Times and New York magazine.
Harvest Collegiate High School will be supported by a variety of educational and community organizations. College Now is a collaboration between the City University of New York (CUNY) and the New York City Department of Education that prepares public high school students for successful academic performance in college.
