We are an authentic NY Jewish Delicatessen. Established in 2018 at the ask of family, friends, and the sheer lack of foods of our heritage. Our goal is to recreate the experiences of old New York on the lower east side. We source the finest ingredients available to produce the flavors, smells, and memories we all look for from a Jewish Delicatessen.

Born and raised in New York, Vance was taught by both of his grandmothers about how to make incredible food using only the freshest ingredients. He was just a little fella standing in the kitchen with his Nonna making sausage, cooking from scratch - picking, cutting, peeling, smelling the food - and of course, tasting to make sure it was perfect.
Our gluten-free vegan soups made in house using organic vegetables, kosher chicken, and love. Our bagels are baked in our oven-fresh every couple of hours you can substitute bagels on any sandwich for half a buck. Our sandwiches are served open-faced with capers, heirloom tomatoes, red onion, and your choice of plain or scallion cream cheese.

The bakery here is good.
1) The black & white cookie is spot on just like you'd get in New York.
2) Good bagels. Got a plain, onion, and an everything. Delicious.
The sandwiches are overpriced, disappointing, and not good.
I got Two Meat on rye, my brother Pastrami on marbled.
1) Soggy Bread: The bread really needs to be toasted cause by the time we waited and got the sandwiches handed to us, they were a soggy mess. Squishy and falling to pieces in our hands.
2) The meats were okay, but as other reviewers said, FATTY. You end up with mouthfuls of soggy bread and fat smothered in

Got here around 4 pm. Ordered one pound brisket and some other stuff to go. Had to stand in the rain for a very long time to get our food and there was no brisket. Turned out they forgot to order it so we had to reorder. And they ran low on brisket so wouldn't sell it to us by pound. Disappointed with the service.

We came by yesterday for hot pastrami sandwiches and matzo ball soup, so we could take it down the block and eat it at Rachel's Ginger Beer. We just came back from an NYC trip this week, so we were excited to find an NYC style deli here in Seattle. Unfortunately, despite the matching prices (we dropped over $100 for two matzo ball soups, 2 sandwiches and some bagels), the food unfortunately did not live up.
The pastrami sandwich was cold when we got it, and didn't melt in the mouth. The matzo ball soup was really just a chicken noodle soup (shredded chicken and everything) but with a

SEATTLE'S BEST SANDWICH!!! Hands down my favorite place to get lunch to go!! If you told me there was any sandwich worth $20 to go, I would tell you that you're nuts. However, the pastrami, brisket and corned beef sandwich are all FANTASTIC!! I always get them on rye and I personally don't like the schmear (nor do my girls). It is definitely enough for 2 people or 2 meals. I do wish they gave you more than a thimble full of potato salad (or coleslaw) as a side. I'm super picky on pickles and there's are just ok to me. Their tuna salad and egg salad are also excellent

I'm usually someone who only goes out of her way to compliment places but I'm so disappointed in my recent run at Dingfelder's that I thought it was important to let them know why they've lost a regular customer.
Pros: let's start with the pros. The food is amazing. Every single time. And this is coming from a Montreal jew transplant to the Pacific Northwest. Love the food! The sandwiches are to die for, side pickles delicious, and that cheesecake!
Cons: customer service. It just always feels like we are bothering the staff. I order food ahead of time online. I tip what

The hype and reviews were real alright. My wife picked me up a Mrs maisel, Seattle style with marble rye after reading all the reviews. The meat and the bread are everything, and both selections were spot on! I remember a similar feeling eating at rain shadow meats years ago, so this sandwich was right up there. I do agree with most reviewers that with this price point, this is an occasional treat.
Taking a star off for price and also the fact that 20% tip was auto added without asking the customer. If not stated as a policy, that is a very rude thing to auto select for takeout.

I'm not a pastrami expert but DANG this sandwich from Dingfelder's is good.
My fiancé and I were fully planning on sharing a Three Meat Combo after reading reviews about everyone having leftovers and enough to share. Right before we ordered, we made a game time decision to just get our own sandwiches. It ended up being the right call because my fiancé ate the whole thing in one sitting (...and subsequently food coma'd thereafter.)

My husband and I are new to Seattle and decided to find a deli spot for lunch. He found this place and while it was a little pricey, the reviews were great.
Friendly staff and the service was fast (we didn't order online beforehand). We both got the corned beef. I got mine with marble rye. I enjoyed the sandwich, but I did pick a lot of fat off. There was a considerable amount of meat, but also just as much fat. The marble rye was divine! Wow, I don't think I've ever had such good marble rye! My husband didn't enjoy his, it was just too fatty for him. I will say, the fat does

Best tasting pastrami and corned beef sandwiches my husband and I have ever had! We got 1 Hot Pastrami and 1 corned beef sandwich, both "ding" sized sandwiches. Full meat plz (That's what she said).
Definitely get the SHMEAR of chopped liver and gribenes on the pastrami, you can't miss with it on marble rye! The pastrami was amazing, perfectly seasoned, almost melt in your mouth tender. My personal favorite was the corned beef on seeded rye. If I were to have a cheat meal, it'd be at Dingfelders every week.
Seriously, try it. You won't regret it.

I really wanted to like this place as it has such great hype. We ordered one pastrami and one brisket sandwich. Both were very tasty, but they were sooo fatty. Extremely rich. Maybe this is what most people want? I had a hard time eating both because they were filled with large chunks of fat. They had a little bit of mustard on them and this could have been more. It's also hard to get past the $20 for a single sandwich. with it, you get a mere spoonful of coleslaw or potato salad. both of these sides were good, but come on. If I'm paying $20 for sandwich I expect some heaping sides to

Long overdue review for Dingfelder's Delicatessen! If it wasn't for today's ROTD recipient on 2/28/21, I totally spaced that I forgot to complete a Yelp post. Usually if I'm at this vicinity, I'm at one of four other places: Porchlight, Nue, Regent, or Danbo.
Visit #1 was on 9/29/19 focusing on treats like the brick of cheesecake, chocolate babka, and cinnamon & chocolate rugelach. The Homie gives a thumbs up for the cheesecake. Reminded him of the huge cheesecake slice consumed while on a whirlwind trip to NYC. Me - I enjoyed the chocolate babka and both types of

When that NY deli cravings hit, there are few places you can go in Seattle to satiate it.
While I want to give Dingfelder's 5 stars for delivering on these favorites, their pricing are questionable. On this particular trip, we got the side of corned beef hash, side of chopped liver, whitefish salad sandwich, and bagel with whitefish meat. Trying to justify a bagel with whitefish meat at $18 is difficult but it is good. Is it $18 good? Maybe once or twice a year. Just be aware that a lunch trip for two can easily cost you over $50.
We've also tried the black and white cookie and won

This is my new obsession. I love celebrating all the jewish holidays with my family and the food is often my favorite part.
We have been here several times since discovering the dishes and location of this place. The place is super poppin on a weekend morning. Be ready to wait in some kind of pick up or ordering line; especially if nice weather to stand and wait.
Lucky us, the week we discovered this place was SRW so it meant SRW menu combos! We ended up trying:
Hot Pastrami Sandwich - This sandwich is stacked! If you see the pictures before you go, they are no joke. This sandwich is layered
