One of my favorite lunch spots in Pike Place! They always have a wide variety of sandwiches and sides at a very reasonable price for the location, and I love how they offer both half and full sized sandwich options. I would definitely recommend getting the sandwich toasted -- tastes way better, especially during a cold Seattle day.

I cannot begin to say enough great things about this place. We live here in the Seattle area and every time we go anywhere near downtown or the market, we always go to Michou. First off, the prices are extremely reasonable which is important to our family, and hand-in-hand, the food is amazing. Really couldn't ask for anything more. Amazing sandwiches are there in full or half sizes. Amazing savory items of all different types as well as great deserts of a wide variety. Think we might head there right now.

Super tasty sammiches (including several legit veggie options), yummy looking salads and pastries and pastas and classic breakfast items - will definitely be back to try more, great people behind the counter, extremely reasonably priced, possibly even slightly underpriced? Like, if everything was $1 more I would still think it was really reasonable, especially being at the market. Nice little counter area to eat at. Stop reading reviews. Just go already.

We were hungry and ventured into Pikes Market Place, knowing they have a variety of places to choose from. They decided on Michou as the line was not too long, and it smelled terrific.
They have a counter of many sandwiches to pick from; they then warm them with a panini press and cut them in half if you order a whole.
Chicken and Goat cheese 5/5 I liked it, and it had an excellent flavor and was stuff generously.
Poblano Beef 5/5 was good, not spicy at all as I thought it might be, also very great flavors.
I wanted to try more but opted to get a whole sandwich instead and just split them

Michou is often overlooked in Pike's Place market. I usually stay away from Pike's because many of the restaurants and shops are designed for tourists. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sandwiches at Michou are so delicious and hearty especially for the price. My favorite sandwich is the tomato and brie. They also have a variety of other items like salads, pasta, and some bakery items. This place is usually not as crowded compared to other shops in the market which makes it great for a quick takeout.

The reason for 2 stars is the attitude of two of the employees. My friend got a dirty look for just asking about the chocolate and strawberry tamales. Then the cashier tossed our order onto the counter like he just loved his job soo much...NOT!!!
The food was average but not bad, just the service stunk. Too bad, experiences like that can break a business.

Tasty sandwiches and treats that are surprisingly well-priced for this touristy local action. The line was short, but the wait was long and the sandwiches were a little dry, but the baked goods were spectacular and the soup was pretty good, too.
We sampled:
Italian
Tuscan chicken
Italian wedding soup
Cocoa bread pudding
Matcha Mochi (our favorite by far!)
Take your food to go across the street to Pike Place and grab a seat outdoors on the deck overlooking the harbor.

Solid sandwiches. For our final Pike Place visit before heading to the airport, we came here for takeout to eat at the airport before the flight back home. We got a Poblano Beef sandwich (Zoe's roast beef, greens, onion, mozzarella, house-made poblano sauce). We got a whole sandwich cut into half, and it was plenty between both of us.
I also got a chicken & gouda pasta bake. This was my favorite thing to eat from here! Think of a cupcake, but made out of mac and cheese, with a bit of chicken! Mmmmm.
I'm sure they tasted better hot, but even after we bit into the sandwiches at

If everything in Pike Place's has a huge line, don't hesitate to try this place. They have a variety of foods and a great selection of sandwiches. Love that they have small portions too so you can try more items such as side salads or pasta. Not only is the food good but the prices are reasonable. I was craving some chicken fried rice (unexpected but so good) with vietnamese grilled chicken and my bf got the italian sandwich. We loved everything for the price!
Line does get long but the workers are efficient, so don't let it deter you.

This deli has a gorgeous display and I was really excited to try a sandwich. I ordered half a buffalo chicken sandwich, which looked phenomenal in the case, and had them toast it. I was really disappointed in what I received after I walked away from the deli and started eating it. I did get a salad from the deli case which was great and the line moved quickly. I would not recommend getting a half sandwich, as you might get ripped off like I did!

Favorite lunch to-go in Seattle. Huge selection of delicious sandwiches and paninis, side salads and pasta salads, delicious desserts - enormous selection, ridiculously low prices ($7.75 for huge sammies, desserts for $3), great service. Random list of goodies we love:
- Sandwiches ($7.75 whole, $4.25 half): Crispy chicken, Sierra Chicken, Turkey Bacon. More than a dozen sandwiches to choose from
- Desserts: Zeppole (cinnamon sugar or orange blossom, $2.50 for 4), orange chocolate bread pudding ($2.99, they always have a selection of bread puddings), Nanaimo bar ($1.95)
- Breakfast: Thick sliced

My family and I vacationed in Seattle for two days and this was my favorite meal I had while here. They have tons of vegan options- I had the buddha salad, which was full of healthy ingredients and tasted fantastic. The larger 12 oz container filled enough to serve as brunch for the morning. They also had tons of other sandwich and deli salad options that looked amazing as well. Would DEFINITELY recommend if you're looking for a fairly quick meal at Pike Place Market.

This place almost put me into anaphylactic shock. It's not that their food isn't good it's that their employees seem to not take their jobs seriously. The customer service is why I'm giving this place one star. The food would've gotten it 3. It's average.
I come here very often because I work down the street. This time in particular I came in to get what I've gotten before, their chicken tamales. I saw next to it a sign that said pineapple tamales. I told the girl who helped me about 4 times to please make sure that it's the chicken and not the pineapple

A bit overpriced, although the selection of sandwiches and salads is good. The hot items seemed like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp too long (even early in the day), so I didn’t try those. The Nanaimo bar was good, if a little sweet. Be prepared to wait for service, it takes them a *long* time to get through the line, even with just a few people in front.

Me and my family are regulars here and the food is always so so good. My parents love getting the sandwiches - the teriyaki tofu and the grilled portobello are vegetarian. They also enjoy the bread puddings.
I'm vegan so I opt for the salad bar. I LOVE all their options and all the seasonal things that they have. This time around I got the wild rice and butternut squash salad as well as the Chinese all spice tofu. very very good. I have also gotten their kale salads. They just have so much veggie options!!

My husband and I wanted a lite dinner and Michou captured our attention when walking by. I was impressed by the variety of options, and quality of ingredients. I ordered 3 whole sandwiches (tofu, crispy chicken, & chicken teriyaki) a rice ball, small side of broccoli and potatoes (both were enough to satisfy three people. My husband and son really enjoyed their sandwiches; my husband kept saying "this is a sandwich". The rice ball was extremely delicious, I wish would have ordered two!!!
