Originally a Trading Post in the late 1800's, the history of the propertytells the story of the home was built by the Samuel Erwin, founder of the Town (of Erwin). Since then it has been accommodating overnight guests and growing with the changing needs of travelers.

Services
From the Elmira-Corning Airport:Rte 17 West (17 West is future Rte 1-86 West) to Rte 15 South (exit # 44). Once on 15 South, take the 2nd Exit (Erwin-Addison Exit). From points East:Rte 17 West (17 West is future Rte 1-86 West) to Rte 15 South (exit # 44). Once on 15 South, take the 2nd Exit (Erwin-Addison Exit) [note: The Erwin Exit is approximately 3.5 miles beyond the Gang Mills Exit.]

I STAYED AT THE ERWIN MOTEL TWO WEEKS . TWO DAYS THE FIRST WEEK AND FOUR DAYS THE NEXT WEEK. I WAS IN THE HOUSEKEEPING BUSINESS FOR YEARS. I GET UP VERY EARLY. I SAT OUTSIDE AND DRINK MY COFFEE. EVERYDAY I WAS THERE I WATCHED THE (OWNER) GO INTO THE ROOM AS SOON AS THE PEOPLE CHECKED OUT. SO I'M THINKING WHY IS HE GOING INTO THE ROOMS BEFORE THE HOUSEKEEPERS? HOUSEKEEPERS SHOULD GO IN THE ROOM FIRST TO CHECK FOR THEIR TIPS!!! THE ROOMS WHERE VERY CLEAN!! THE MOTEL ITSELF NEEDS A LOT OF WORK!!! I ALWAYS LEAVE A TIP FOR EVERY NIGHT I STAY. I ASKED THE HOUSEKEEPERS IF THEY GOT THE TIPS I LEFT THEM

Literally the worst motel we've ever stayed in.
Broken down beds. Broken window shades. My husband said this looked like a place where Dexter might hang out.
At $88/night (including tax) this is way over priced. And ridiculous.
Don't get me started on the wifi discussion either. Needless to say I gave up after 6 repeated conversations about what the wifi was (look for "erwinmotel-1" which didn't exist. Over and over)
Anyway. No. Just no. Never ever never never never ever again.
